Rinsing vinegar?? All I know about vinegar is its used in Chinese cuisine, ab baalon k liye bh vinegar?! I was ignorant and probably living under a rock until a friend of mine introduced me to the concept of washing vinegar, stating that using vinegar as the last rinse of hair, just after  shampooing helps softening the hair adding shine to it. Ending up on my bathroom cabinet is this cute looking bottle of this Yves Rocher raspberry rinsing vinegar, lets move on to the review to know whether you should get this treasure from the French and if yes then how to use it on your hair.

My Review:

Yves Rocher Raspberry Rinsing Vinegar actually smells just like raspberries with no vinegary scent at all.  It reminds me of Victoria’s Secret’s Love Spell scent.  The only directions on the bottle say to spread Yves Rocher Rinsing Vinegar throughout the hair before the final rinse and to rinse thoroughly afterward.  That’s it.  I went to Yves Rocher’s website for more thorough directions and even Googled it, but short of calling France, I wasn’t able to find any better directions for how much to use or how long to leave it in.  That’s my only peeve with this product.  I’ve never used a hair vinegar before and could really used some kind of guide on it.

TEXTURE: It is runny, absolutely water-like in texture and consistency and is not at all sticky or slimy.

Packaging: comes in a cute sturdy plastic bottle with a knob-like screw on cap which has a tiny hole to dispense the vinegar directly on your washed hair instead of having to pour it somewhere else for use. The 150ml bottle is also not very clumsy or huge so is ok enough to carry around if you are travel.

USAGE: Turns out, this tiny opening is perfect. After shampooing and conditioning, I sprinkle a bit of the raspberry vinegar all over my head and run it down my hair. About 10 shakes for my current hair length. Just enough to feel the strands become smooth. It smells like CANDY. After 3-5 minutes, a good rinse with cold water washes the vinegar away in tiny bubbles.

AFTER-EFFECTS: My hair is left very soft,  a lot of frizz under control and bouncy, though I don’t really see shine as in no product imparts shine, but yes, the hair that’s around my crown or I would say the length of hair upto my ear is shiny, rest of it is like before only, but yeah much softer. I have never used any conditioner and with this  my hair is still well-behaved and softyyy . I generally have a greasy scalp but this rinse kept my scalp from getting oily for a couple of days.

Recommendation: whoooff so tired after writing such a long review! All I would say is go get a 109786 litres bottle of this stuff, it is worth it.
