As you all know from my rave review of my first ysl rouge volupte shine lipstick lipstick #16 long ago I am completely smitten by Yves Saint Laurent’s magnificent shades and texture! I loved it way more than Estee Lauder and dior and chanel…this particular shade today is a birthday gift from a dearest friend of mine. Love you babe! And it’s a shade made even more popular by a video of Lisa Eldridge. Its the no 19 from the range- Fuchsia in rage. Let’s start with the review and swatches.

My Review:
The packaging of YSL is ornamental, classy and drop dead gorgeous and even saying that is an understatement. It has got a glossy golden body with intricate carvings of the ysl logo and a color coded middle portion..i can look at it all day…
The texture is the best thing to happen to me after I had my last pancake swimming in butter a week ago, Seriously, it glides on like melted butter on the driest and horridest of lips and makes it soft, supple and smooth..the finish is glossy definitely but that kind of amps up the glamour for me!
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #19
The shade fuchsia in rage is an intense eye popping bright blue toned fuchsia which is gonna grab all eyeballs wherever you go. It suits surprisingly a wide range of skintones and brightens up my face instantly as if I have lit a bulb. I totally heart blue based pinks!
The pigmentation is mind blowing in spite of its smooth glossy texture and gives me opaque color in a couple of swipes.

Lasting power is tremendous and lasts easily on lips withstanding food and drinks through 5-6 hours and refuses to fade properly, settling down on lips as an intense sexy tint.
It has a fruity peachy fragrance and fades within a few minutes of application.
