Fashion Week Survival Kit: Things Every Girl Should Carry in her Bag

Its back! Its that time of the year when our dilli sours high on fashion quotient. All thanks to the bi-annual Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and FDCI. I took you to Day 1 of WIFW AW14 back in February. Now its time for the Spring Summer 15 to steal the show. They say a girl’s bag is full of mysteries you would never want to know. But today the cat is out of the bag. Like the survival kit I put together for Indian brides

, this one is a survival kit for fashion weeks. This sneak peak in my bag might help you out in life changing situations like which lipstick to wear or which chocolate bar to munch during a fashion show. You see I read your mind, I knew you wanted these important answers.

First up is my Miss Bennett off white hand bag which carries my world in it! The thing with white and black is that they go with every outfit. Although I will be honest here..we don’t..ahem..commit that easily. So you might see me with a different bag each day.

MAC Ruby Woo: A wise woman once said that when in doubt wear red. And who are we to ignore such wise words. This one lipstick keeps me company in every fashion week time and again.

MAC All Fired Up : A very beautiful deep pink which compliments our Indian skin tone beautifully. You see if you don’t want to bother with complicated eye makeup then just wear a bright lip and you have nailed it.

Skagen Watch: Its rose gold. What more can I say!

Neon glasses: While my watch may look classy and sophisticated, my glasses tell a different story. If you want to stand out in a sea of aviators and cat eyes then go for neon shades!

Card Holder: While fashion weeks are all fun and frolic, you should never forget the business aspect of it. I’m carrying my business cards in this cutesy parrot print card holder by Krsna Mehta. And he is also showing this season at WIFW SS 15.

Bobby Pins: And not just any bobby pins okay!

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner: You can take kajal out of India but you can’t take India out of kajal. Errr..okay lame! But you got the point?

Sunscreen: I carry travel size sunscreens with me and right now I have one from Kaya.

Fragrance: Again travel size vials of perfumes from My Envy Box. This month I’m loving this Chloe perfume.

Pen Drive: Well you never know when you might run out of memory on your DSLR card. So always carry a pen drive to transfer stuff.

Pouch: My favourite chappal print pouch again from Krsna Mehta. This man comes up with such unique prints. I have a wallet from her with auto wallahs on it! Can’t wait to see her collection this time.

Phone: When you are a blogger, you have to constantly update your social media with all the latest shows and street style spottings. This time I’m carrying my new Sony Xperia Z3 to take selfies and spam you all on Instagram! Also who bothers with pen or paper in this day and age. I make all my notes and points in my phone only.

No girl we are not done yet. Umm..so I am a firm believer of Procrastination. I need to get some bandages in case of shoe bites, mints, gums, Snickers bars, energy drinks and what not! But ofcourse I’m gonna buy it 15mins before I reach the venue. And don’t forget to carry some ear phones to shoooo away pesky socialites in between the shows. You better utilize that time to up your game and check out the exhibit area.
