Wet n Wild lipsticks are a must have for ladies who want some colour on their lips all day long without having to retouch it over and over again. I myself have 2 shades from this Mega Last Matte Lipstick range and planning to pick a few more. Today I am going to share my review and swatches on the lavender purple shade – Mauve Outta Here. Its quite a bold shade to pull off since people aren’t really used to spotting purple hues on lips but I gave this a go and totally liked it.

Wet n Wild Claims: Lips take Center stage! This 4-hour, long wearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn’t cake, feather, or bleed. Mauve Outta Here is a purple-y mauve/bright pink based purple shade, which would look good on fair to medium skin tones particularly for evening and night parties. This lavender shade is tough to pull off.  But you can also make it easy by blotting it on paper and wear it as a stain. It is a very bold yet flattering shade. It brightens up my complexion, makes my lips look fuller giving me a big smile and brightens up my mood instantly.

Its very light weight and I can’t even feel I have put something on my lips.  It looks creamy and smooth in texture but when applied on lips it gives semi-matte finish but does not gets dry,  flaky or settles into the lip lines. I would still recommend you apply lip balm underneath or ex-foliate your lips properly to counter the slight tug and stickiness.It stays for at least 5-6 hours without meals and leaves an even tint after fading. Staying power is indeed impressive. The consistency of these lipsticks is amazing and is what impressed me the most. It does not bleed, feather, flake or dries out the lips.

Packaging: It comes in a simple, transparent black & white packaging. The brand name Wet ‘n’ Wild is embossed on the transparent lid. Colour number and shade name is mentioned at the bottom. The transparent tube makes it easy to spot out the colour of the lipstick inside. It is travel friendly as well.

Final Verdict: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color Mauve Outta Here has smooth texture, intense pigmentation and superb staying power. The mauve pink shade is quite different and hatke. This range has some really pretty colours which are quite wearable as well. So you should have at least one in your vanity!
