Thus is my 1^st review on this marvelous blog. And I will start with writing a review on Vaseline petroleum jelly cocoa butter. I am sure that everybody has heard about Vaseline since childhood days. I am 23 and have a normal to oily skin, kind of combination skin (so you can better judge my experience) Vaseline Jelly has been my childhood friend, I remember using the petroleum jelly in winters. Vaseline jelly is an unbeatable product and nothing can replace it! It is no less than a miracle. But the variant I am going to talk is a little different different from the original tub. This one comes with rich conditioning cocoa butter and hence the name, Blue Seal Cocoa Butter Rich Conditioning Jelly.

OMG I just love cocoa butter! Delhi winters came and it was time to buy the trusted jelly. So I was searching online to buy Vaseline and discovered this variant and w anted to buy it since it had cocoa in it. But it was out of stock, unlucky me! But I got it from a cosmetic store. Its is much better than the old petroleum jelly and trust me it is worth worth worth trying. You won’t regret. Let’s see why.

My Review:

Vaseline is one product on which I can trust blindly. The blue seal rich conditioning jelly is an imported product as of now. It comes in a tub like container with a flip cap, the usual packaging. The tub is transparent and the flip color is dark blue. Flip cap closely very tightly which makes it travel friendly.

The color of the Vaseline is pale yellow. It smells a little bit like cocoa because of the presence of cocoa butter in it. Its smell is not very strong, but its very pleasant and I really love it. The fragrance fades after some time. The smell of cocoa can be an issue for sensitive noses.

Its texture is neither too thick nor runny but a creamy magical spread which is a little different from the usual petroleum jelly. It makes my skin smooth, soft, supple and moisturized. It does not attract dirt the way normal petroleum jelly does so you can easily use it and go outside. It is easy to apply and spreads easily and moisturizes your skin for 24 hours. Its a miracle for people with dry skin. It heals your skin if you have some minor cuts and dry patches on your body.

How to use the Vaseline Blue Seal Cocoa Butter Rich Conditioning Jelly?

1. It helps in healing cracked feet, dry patches and minor cuts. This can also reduce the fine lines on your hands.

2. My mom really loves this product as it makes her hands and feet soft, this is the only product which has been able to do this. She has used a lot of products for her hands and feet and this came out as a winner. She applies it on her hands and feet at night and in the morning the difference is clearly visible. Her hands and cracked heel get very soft.

3. This products works as a great lip balm too. If you are running out of lip balm then apply a coat of Vaseline cocoa butter and then your lip gloss or lipstick. It will keep your lips smooth for 6-8 hours. I do this on a daily basis.

4. I had dry patches on my legs but after using Vaseline petroleum jelly daily its all gone. Now I have smooth legs and I even noticed that it helped in reducing my stretch marks on my legs. It really worked for me.

If anyone has difficultly applying Vaseline cocoa butter then mix it with your body lotion and then use it. I use this formula everyday and works wonderfully for me.

PRICE: This is not yet easily available in India. The tub does not have a price label. This is available on some of the shopping sites but the price varies from one site to another. The lowest price is on eBay where it retails for Rs 499 for 250 ml. I bought it from a cosmetic store for Rs.320.
