Cut crease is basically an eye makeup technique in which the crease is really sharp and crisp and gives an illusion of being cut in two, it is a really really flattering look if done right. But it is a bit tricky and often done by professional makeup artists. So its important that you take your time getting the basics right along with some of my secret tips and tricks. It can get a bit dramatic so it is definitely not an everyday look but it could be toned down as well for everyday(will do a tutorial on that soon). So here I’m doing a purple cut crease which is really appropriate for clubbing or night outs or you could even pull this off on special occasions and can change the purple to any color you like. I kept this look extremely simple as I know some of you might be doing this for the first time and I really didn’t wanted to make it complicated. So lets get started with the eye makeup, get all your brushes and makeup out.
Cut Crease Makeup Steps:
STEP1: Start off by apply a cream eyeshadow all over lid, you can even use a powder but I chose a long wearing cream eye shadow as will not crease and also tighline your lower and upper lash line using a black kohl. PRODUCT USED: e/s used-Maybelline color tattoo in the shade painted purple. Kohl used- l’oreal magique.
STEP2: Now take you gel liner and start lining your lashline, start off with feline wing first and then move inside. I suggest using a gel liner as it will make the task easier and again it will not smudge. PRODUCT USED: Maybelline gel liner (black)
STEP3: Now drag the line into your crease, use an angled brush as it will be make it really really easy. Also take a matte black eye shadow to set the liner in place.
STEP4: Take a blending brush and blend the black eye shadow upwards towards the brow bone. PRODUCT USED: ebony from stila in the know pallete .
STEP5: Now you can apply your highlight color, I suggest using a matte as it will not attract much light and the main focus will remain on the crease. PRODUCT USED: Maybelline dream matte compact.
STEP6: Apply your mascara and before that you can apply some more purple on the lid just to freshen up the color a bit. And as you can see that I kept the mascara quite muted as I want the attention to be fully on the crease. PRODUCT USED: Maybelline hyper curl.
Here is how the final eye makeup looks like
NOW for the cheeks and lips, I used Maybelline cheeky glow in creamy cinnamon
and nyx round lip gloss in mauve.

I knowww, that is why I suggest using an eye liner first and then blending it with a small brush, that just prevents over blending. Anddd thankyou so much♡♡
