Sonam Kapoor’s Lehenga Look: Cannes 2013

Sonam Kapoor turned up at the L’oreal Soiree (what’s that btw?) at the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival in a lehenga by Shehla Khan. The sheer lace black lehenga has this goth appearance that reminds me of her last year’s Cannes disaster in an equally gothic Alexander McQueen gown. Anybody remember that? Check the post to see what I’m talking about. Its an exact replica…this time in a lehenga.

The diamond necklace is by Chopard which is absolutely stunning. I do like the look…neck up (including ofcourse the very beautiful necklace). The hair and makeup are in place. Its the outfit. The blouse has got so much going on it that it becomes an eye sore.

I don’t see the point of taking that dupatta (no matter how sheer) over those stunning diamonds. Why in the world would anybody like to cover them! And the Salvatore Ferragamo  clutch? Its adding nothing but confusion to the already meh look.

But let’s give it to the lady for surprising us with yet another “different” (different is the key word people) look. Unlike Vidya Balan, who turns up with the exact same blouse and hair do EVERYDAY! Why amma ji
