I am getting addicted towards lipsticks and that’s how I got to know about this beautiful lipstick from Sleek which I am going to review and swatch today. Don’t know if you all aware but I am a Blush Fanatic! Sleek has been one of the best and famous drugstore makeup cosmetics manufacture in UK. Sleek Makeup makes cosmetics for all skin tones at a reasonable price which is big a plus point. I saw many videos of famous Pixiwoo girls – Sam and Nick (the Real Techniques makeup brushes girls) reviewing and using Sleek products in their videos. I feel great to have laid  my hands on two of my most favorite Sleek Products – Lipstick in Shade Pink Freeze and Sleek Blush in Rose Gold. Today I am going to review one of my favorite Lipsticks –Sleek Makeup Pink Freeze.

My Review:

I was always searching for a lipstick which should not be too bright nor too soft but a perfect neon pink in matte finish which would not wash me out but compliment my Indian skin tone beautifully. I am MAC NC 37 for preference. I prefer matte over any other texture. You can always find one in my hand bag. But sadly I have a love and hate relation with this Lipstick. I love the matte neon pink shade and the pigmentation but its gives you terribly flaky lips which I hate a lot!

Colour and Pigmentation: It’s a cool toned bright pink shade with a matte finish. Girls around NC 37-42 can easily carry this shade. The pigmentation is also very good, but those who have pigmented lips may need 2-3 swipes to make it totally opaque. It glides on pretty easily on lips and does not budge from sides and holds on pretty nicely.

Texture: The texture is complete matte. Matte lipstick lovers will love it. It stays put for almost 3 hrs on my lips after which its starts to settle in lip lines and give you flaky and dry lips. But I recently discovered a remedy. Applying a lip balm under it can act as a saviour! Why didn’t I think of it before!

Packaging: The lipstick tube is matte black and the shade name is written at the bottom. Very pretty.

What I like about the Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick:

• Pretty bright pink shade
• Matte texture
• Hides lip pigmentation.
• Not too dry on lips.
• Affordable (without shipping).
• Suits most of the Indian skin tones

What I don’t like about Pink Freeze:

• Poor staying power
• Settle into fine lines and starts flaking
• Availability in India

Final Verdict: Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick Matte Pink Freeze is a beautiful blue based bright pink which instantly makes you look fresh and happy. The texture is matte which is a big plus point with such a bright shade. If you don’t mind the low staying power then do get it..just for the beautiful pink colour perhaps. Totally recommend them.
