I recently tried out Oriflame The One Illuskin Blush, and trust me it is the best blush I have laid my hands on till now! This 2-in-1 Blush-cum-Highlighter comes in three shades: Pink Glow, Luminous Peach and Shimmer Rose

. The One range from Oriflame was launched recently this year and since then it is getting rave reviews.

My Review of Oriflame Blushes:

Oriflame The One blushes have a simple purple casing with a mirror. The two strips of blush and highlighter look pretty. The casing could have been more eye-catching. I would have loved it if it came along with a brush, a decent one. Nevertheless, the blush has very fine silky texture and does not clog pores. The gritty highlighter though is trying hard to match the finesse of the blush. I would advise you to ‘go slow’ with the highlighter in daytime if you are not a pro in the make-up department. The packaging is compact, just perfect for the girl on the move!

I will discuss the three swatches of Oriflame The One Illuskin Blushes one by one. The three shades meant for the three kinds of tones of the skin are discussed as below:

 

Swatches from Top to Bottom:

1. Oriflame The One Pink Glow:

It is meant for fair yo medium skin tone. The pink coral shade gives the skin a natural pink flush look. The light beige toned highlighter enhances the effect. The shimmer strip does not look tacky and can be worn in daytime too. But, don’t overdo yourself. The subtlety is the essence, my girl!

2. Oriflame The One Luminous Peach:

The name is misguiding, I double checked! It is not peach at all but has a very pretty rosy tinge and beige-silver highlighter. It is perfect for the wheatish tones. From light wheatish to dusky, this blush is sure to make you glow. I used it, and I must tell you, I am satisfied.

3. Oriflame The One Shimmer Rose:

Meant for the warm earthy complexions, this peach toned blush (told you earlier, don’t go by the name!) comes along with champagne coloured highlighter. Skip the shimmery highlighter and go plain with the blush in daytime. Shimmers look best at night.
