Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blushes Soft Peach and Pink Glow: Review, Swatches and FOTD

Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blushes Soft Peach and Pink Glow Review and Swatches

I feel like an artist when I do my full fledged makeup ritual. Infact its those 5mins (or 30..depends on how late I am) of the day when I forget everything and just relax. Makeup is like meditation to me..baba ramdev might get a mini attack if he reads this. The point is you gotta concentrate your indriyas on one thing and that’s what I do..I concentrate on my makeup! And when you have these cute little tubes of blushes around, it only gets easier. I’m talking about the new Cream Blushes by Oriflame. I’ve 2 shades – Pink Glow and Soft Peach

which I will review and swatch today. There is one more shade called Sheer Berry.

Oriflame Claims: Give your cheeks a natural wash of colour with Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blush. Famed for its long lasting properties and easy application, the cream blush is a must have makeup item in your beauty kit.The weightless formula of the blush blends easily into skin while the creamy texture sculpts and highlights the cheeks to give a healthy glow. Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blushes Soft Peach and Pink Glow Review

Pink Glow looks like a bright barbie pink in the tube but looks a soft warm pink on cheeks. It cheers me up by just looking at it. It has some blue tones which can brighten up even a tired face. Works well with all my pink lipsticks.

Soft Peach is a warm beige nude shade which will show up on very fair skin. On our Indian skin tones it won’t do much on its own. You remember I told you in my how to make your blush last all day

post that I use a creamy nude lipsticks as base for my powder blushes. The blushes stick to the creaminess and last longer. Well now I finally have a cream blush to use instead of the lipsticks.

The pigmentation of both the blushes is good. I use 4-5 tiny dots on each cheek for the colour to show up. The blushes have a little shimmer when you look closely. I only noticed it on the camera. It don’t show up on cheeks and they look totally matte.

Although the blushes are creamy but the texture is exactly like liquid blushes but a little less runny. I find my Nyx cream blush a little hard to blend but these are super quick and easy to use. Fingers work just fine.

I was surprised when I didn’t see any dewiness that comes with cream blushes. So I would say they are more like stains. And perfectly suited for oily skin. I’m hoping I would be able to use it in the summers easily. On me they last for a good 5-6 hours with a base.

  • Love the shades. I am totally in love with Pink Glow.
  • Easy to blend since the texture is like liquid blushes
  • Stay on for around 5-6 hours on me
  • Tiny and cute tubes which can be easily carried
  • They don’t make my skin oily since they are matte
  • Can be used as bases for powder blushes to increase the wear time
  • Huge quantity! Will take ages to finish!
  • Nicely pigmented. You only need a little quantity each time

Cons of Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blushes:

  • Soft Peach won’t show up on dusky Indian skin tones since its like our second skin. So I use it as a base for my powder blushes.

VNA Rating: 4/5

So is it for you? Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blushes Soft Peach and Pink Glow are great. The texture is light and easy to blend. They are not greasy like other cream blushes but more like matte stains so oily skin can use them as well. I’m totally in love with the formula. Soft Peach isn’t a must have but you should definitely try Pink Glow.
