Please don’t run away! I know I keep this blog up to the neck when it comes to BB cream reviews but blame these beauty brands who keep launching something new every now and then. The new addition to my BB cream army is this Oriflame bb cream which come with spf 30. Before I go watch the new episode of The Walking Dead (which was on a mid-season break till last week) let me quickly talk about what works and what doesn’t about this one.
Oriflame Claims: Oriflame’s 5-in-1 skin dream bb cream is the perfect time-saving solution for the woman on-the-go who wants a flawless face in a flash. With a high spf of 30, this cream delivers everything your skin needs and the look you want, in one super-charged beauty balm. Your skin will look perfectly flawless and stay perfectly protected. The cream contains a breakthrough bb formula created by Oriflame scientists with glowing skin in mind and inspired by the original bb concept – to soothe, nourish and heal the skin, as well as camouflage any redness.
Let’s talk about the shades first. It comes in 2 shades – light and medium. I’ve medium which suits my nc37 Indian skin tone. I am always afraid of the white (or grey) cast that some BB creams give (looking at you Skin79 BB Cream) but this one suits perfectly. But girls who are darker than me won’t find a match. Why?!
The coverage is sheer to medium. It evens out my skin and gives me a layer of makeup when I’ve too much redness going on. But when it comes to concealing, it won’t cover heavy scars but lightens a few spots here and there. Say the coverage is like most of the bb creams in the market if not better.
The texture is neither too thick or too runny but medium enough to blend easily. Fingers will do too. I quite like such easy to work with textures. I am using it in Delhi winters and its quite moisturizing and I don’t need a separate moisturizer. Come summers, I will have to dab some powder on my t-zone but dry skin girls will love it as it is.
It also has SPF 30 which is enough for daily use. I know I shouldn’t be skipping sunscreen but when you are running late, you atleast have some relief! The wear time is quite nice. It stays on for a good 5-6 hours on me. It reminds me a lot of L’Oreal True Match BB Cream .

Cons of Oriflame Skin Dream BB Cream:

So is it for you? Oriflame Skin Dream BB Cream SPF 30 is a nice beauty balm or let’s say tinted moisturizer for daily use. Its moisturiizing and hydrating in winters and gives a relief from dry flaky skin. The texture and staying power is good too. The coverage is light to medium which covers light spots and evens out skin tone.
