Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti Ageing Eye Cream: Review, Price

Review, Price, Buy Online Olay 7 in One Total Effects Anti Ageing Eye Cream

By Contributor: Agnirupa

With this Olay eye cream cream review today, I come to the end of my review of the entire Total Effects 7 in One range I got to try out and had such a lovely experience getting to review and share them with you all. I purposely kept this cream for the end as eye creams need a lot of observation and time before being able to pass any verdict! I have been using this anti ageing eye cream from around 5 weeks and here is my take on it.

Olay Claims: Total Effects Eye Cream treats the appearance of signs of ageing around the eyes dark circles, crow’s feet and lines. Its formula combines moisture with a complex of vitamins, minerals, cooling cucumber extract and soothing aloe vera for visibly younger-looking skin above and around the eyes. Olay Total Effects helps fight the 7 signs of skin ageing to give you visibly younger looking skin

My Review:

Unlike many eye creams which come in heavy/bulky glass jars, this Olay cream is a total cutie! It comes in a sturdy cute round pot with a screw-on black lid which is unhygienic of course, but very easy to carry around and lightweight.

The anti ageing eye cream is very emollient in texture, has a lot of slip (not necessarily a good thing!) and even a teeny amount spreads easily and smoothly over my entire eye area leaving it really smooth and nice. I love applying eye makeup after 10 minutes of application- it makes it a cakewalk!

The total effects eye cream has a peachy color, apparently a pigment to cancel out the darkness in the under eye area and I find that to be slightly true I guess..my eyes do look a tad less tired.

Coming to its claims, I have been applying the olay cream twice daily for several weeks and as such have seen no difference in my dark circles or fine lines which is kind of like my main target when I use an eye cream no? But then, my eye area was really well hydrated and smooth and brighter and that makes sense in making it quite a good eye cream as good hydration will prevent further fine lines. I think this 7 in One eye cream is certainly anti-ageing- more of a prevention cream than a remedial one.

It did not irritate my eyes in any way or cause any unpleasant allergies or sensations so that’s good.

The pros of Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti Ageing Eye Cream:

  • The eye cream is housed in a cute tiny round pot with a crew-on black lid
  • Very smooth and light in texture- so hydrating as well
  • My eyes feel relaxed after application and make up also goes on really well
  • The peachy pigment slightly makes my eye area look brighter
  • Made my eye area smooth and hydrated and I hope will prevent further fine lines
  • Did not cause any eye irritation/infection

The cons of Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti Ageing Eye Cream:

  • Made no difference to my already existing dark circles and fine lines
  • Unhygienic packaging- not good for eye creams

Do I  recommend? If you are in your early twenties and have no serious eye issues except just wanting a good eye cream, this might be it. Will hydrate and smoothen, feel really nice and relaxing, might prevent fine lines from appearing. But if you are well past that and have dark circle issues, this cream is not going to help much am afraid. It does brighten up the eye area somewhat but fails to repair earlier damage so there you go!

  1. Your review said it’s Nice product but it won’t work even after spending around 800 bucks. Buying it will not be a good decision.

  2. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your post seem to be running off
the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or
something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d
post to let you know. The design look great though!
Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers

  3. Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a captcha
plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as
yours and I’m having problems finding one? Thanks a lot!
