Truth be told, I have never been much of a skincare fiend. I have mentally decided whilst seeing all the hype around various skincare products in the virtual world, that I will hold off buying any crazy expensive skincare till I cross 27 years. My pocket doesn’t need that kind of damage right now and my 21 year old dry and sometimes sensitive skin can handle itself quite well for now! But the beauty junkie in me reasons that this doesn’t mean that I cannot try budget products and there are time when she can be very persuasive! And that made me try the new launched Olay Natural White Foaming cleanser which I will review today.
So Olay recently launched their 7 in One, Natural White skincare line which is supposed to be a budget one compared to their more expensive products. Now I wouldn’t exactly call this line of products ‘budget friendly’ as some of them do cross the 300 mark but they have some decent offerings in the 100 to 200 rupees mark also.
Olay Claims: Cleanses your skin while gently removing impurities such as dust, sebum and pollution to provide you with cleaner, healthier and naturally glowing skin
My Review:
The Olay foaming cleanser has a gel formulation and comes out of the tube completely colorless. It does have a liquidy consistency to it and you really don’t need much of it for the whole face. If you are one of those people who loves their cleanser to be nice and foamy then you will be a bit disappointed with this. Yes, it does lather up but not to a completely foamy consistency. The gel like texture of Olay natural white cleanser remains as I massage it into my skin. After I use this product, the skin does feel cleansed but it also feels dry and stretchy, which indicates that this is not something for people with dry skin. I have not noticed any fading of the acne scars or seen even a fraction of my natural glow being revealed after using a substantial amount of this face wash. But as a foaming cleanser, it does a decent amount of work which is always a good thing.
The strong scent, however, is not my cup of tea! The face wash smells strongly of cucumber but there is also something else mixed in it that makes the whole experience very perfume like! And, believe me, it lingers around for quite a while after the product has been used. The inclusion of alcohol and fragrance in the list of ingredients also makes me very sceptical.
The olay 7 in one natural white face wash comes in a standard squeeze tube and lid clicks on shut securely which makes it travel friendly. You get a good 50 grams of product for a decent amount of money which is not bad at all!

Conclusion: It was nice of Olay to come up with a budget cleanser but sadly, it doesn’t quite make it. There are several good cleansers in the market which do the same job at the same price which are effective. If you are interested in buying something from this Natural White range, then I would suggest you skip this one.

I haven't tried this product but the description and packaging remind me of ponds foaming cleansers which I quite liked.
Olay is a good brand but it is little expensive.
You have described the product so well and gave your genuine feedback.
Might try this out :)
For my 20's skin, I have never tried any OLAY product for my skin !
Maybe I will hunt for this facewash soon as I am running out of it.
