Nyx Frappuccino is a beige nude lipstick with peach undertones. The colour pay off is great and goes opaque in one single swipe.  I’ve too many nudes with brown tones then there are some with pink tones but this one is a first. Its the kind of nude that will flatter fair to medium skin tones. I guess if you are above nc42 then it will wash you out a bit. If you are darker than this then you carry it with smokey eyes.

When I was first tried this I was over the moon on finding THE nude lipstick I was searching for ages..literally. But then my heart was broken into pieces. Its the quality I’m talking about. These are so soft that they melt like butter in the tube. So I kept it in the fridge but then its so creamy and buttery that it is difficult to achieve a perfect finish on lips. Most of the times it goes streaky and you need to use a lip brush. Also it bleeds so you need a lip liner with it. I like applying lipsticks straight from the bullet so most of the times I just skip using this.

It doesn’t dry your lips since it is very creamy. Because of this the lasting power is not that great. It stays on my lips for barely 2-3hrs and doesn’t leave a stain behind. I wish they improve the formula since the round lipsticks have some of the coolest shades in the market. They have like 144 shades..beat that!

So is it for you? Yes if you want a nude lipstick that is not brown not pink not mlbb but NUDE. It will suit fair to medium skin better than those who are nc42 and above. The colours is so perfect that I so want to recommend this but it is so creamy that it melts in the tube and goes streaky on lips. You need to have patience with it. But at $4 what do you expect?!
