Don’t you just love the dewy glow that cream blushers provide? I certainly do! I have normal-combination and in summers I prefer a matte base which can look very boring and dull. So to add a bit of glow I love using cream blushers. We do not have many affordable options when it comes to cream blushers in India so I finally decided to order these much raved about blushes from Blanc2Noir. Here is my review and swatches on the Nyx Glow blush.

Nyx Claims: More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant color. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting. Check all the shades here

Shade & Pigmentation: Glow is a warm pink blush with slight coral undertones. It gives a pretty soft pink flush to the cheeks upon blending which looks extremely natural and makes me look healthy and glowing. In my opinion this will flatter all Indian complexions beautifully!

It is well pigmented and a little goes a LONG way. I usually apply this with a small duo fibre brush but you can also apply this with your fingers. Just dot it on your cheeks using a q-tip and blend it out with your fingers. Easy peasy!

Texture & Staying Power: The texture of the blush is buttery soft and blends like a dream. It gives a gorgeous dewy finish th at girls with dry to combi skin will love. It tends make my face wee a bit oily in the extremely hot Delhi summers so I just lightly dust a powder blush of the same shade on top of it. I really adore how natural it looks on me and this is the only blush I use during winters.

I get a wear time of about 4 hours(with a base) on my combination skin type. You can increase the longevity of the blush by applying a matching powder blush on top if you like. Thankfully it fades evenly and does not get patchy.

Packaging: NYX Cream Blush comes in a typical  round plastic packaging with a transparent lid on top. I like the fact that it has a transparent lid as it eases identification It has the list of ingredients and shade details mentioned on the back. The packaging seems sturdy and travel friendly however I do wish it came with a mirror for touch ups J

Availability: The only con I can think of is the availability and the price in India. We end up shelling out twice the amount of the original rate and many shades aren’t easily available on Indian sites.

• Not suitable for oily skin
• Overpriced in India

Final Recommendation: NYX Rouge Cream Blush Glow is a perfect everyday blush which gives an extremely pretty and natural soft pink flush to the cheeks. It is well pigmented, blends easily and give a gorgeous dewy finish. Highly recommended for dry-combi skin tones!
