Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Color Rosey Monday

Mondays are never rosey I tell you. They are always blue. I honestly hate monday mornings..they are dull and gloomy..and no amount of alarms can wake you up in time for the 9am class. Like Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Color, my mondays (actually all the week days) are 9 to 5 too..you just sit on that stupid chair from 9 to 5 taking almost 7 lectures in a day and by the time its 4pm you have to stop yourself from falling off the chair during that little nap. May be this is why Lakme named its new pretty peach nail polish Rosey Monday. Its the only good thing around you on dull mondays.

The colour is soooo pretty. Its peach in its true form..no milawat. It does have a tendency to make your hands look a little more dark than they actually are but that’s a problem with all lighter shades. So while the girls in my college are all sporing orange and mint on their nails these days…..I went peachy perfect!

Haa I love this shot. It was taken behind my college audi. Why don’t I use it more often? Btw the Lakme Long Wear nail polish bottles are huge..so in a way they don’t hurt your pocket when you shell out 200 bucks.

Lakme has really improved the formula of these Longwear nail colors. The brush is good and applies well. The texture of the nail paint is smooth so they apply non-streaky. It takes 2-3 coats to go totally opaque with Rosey Monday. It takes a little over a minute to get dry completely..I really don’t mind a minute’s waiting time. And it stays on my nails for 3-4 days easily without chipping. So basically..I’ve got nothing to complain about these nail paints.

I think I should have posted this review on monday but I’ve specially kept Sundays for manicures. Which reminds me I need to get mani-pedi done soon….its been ages since I had one. Keeping in mind that I DIY everything, I may do this pampering session at home too..I am too lazy to go put on weekends. All I do is eat.sleep.talk. Yes I don’t feel like blogging on weekends. Let me know if you guys want a full post on how to do manicure and pedicure at home.

I like Rosey Monday more than Candy Power and Oak Room. You know me..peachy peachy. I totally recommend these new office stylist Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Colors.

Btw I know I’ve not written here regularly from last 2 weeks and I so miss blogging 24*7. But with college being 9 to 5..it has got really difficult. I come back by 6pm and go off to sleep. Then get up for dinner around 8 and try to squeeze in one contributor post. By the time I finish editing the post.. it gets 11..so I talk to sailor and doze off on phone! If I’ve left your mails or messages unanswered then now you know why. I will think of something to write more regularly. Its just sailor said bluntly yesterday “when exactly are you going to write on VNA?” Then I realized that I so have to!
