I just got my first session of laser hair removal! Oh yes people! I’m trying to keep my big mouth closed and will only spill the beans after a few more sessions. Just between the process the girl operating on me complimented “Pretty pretty nails”. I was like haa! that’s what this new nail polish from Faces called. I am wearing Faces Hi-Shine Nail Enamel Pretty Pretty on my nails which I will review today. Btw don’t freak out, she complimented me after the session was over..the “between” part was just to add some drama!
A few days back I reviewed the neon nail paint Fire Stick from their latest collection. And this one is from the Hi-Shine range. Personally I would have never picked up Pretty Pretty myself since I always ignore such light and “less drama” shades when I am at the store. So no surprises for guessing I wore such a light and non-neon shade for the first time and I am loving the change! Its a pale pink shade which looks quite classy and sophisticated.
The nail polish needs 2 coats to go totally opaque which I didn’t expect from such a light shade. Also no streaks while applying which is a common problem with lighter shades.
And boy the shine! True to its name, its really Hi-Shine. The shine is like umm..what shines the most? Diamonds?
But the shine stays for only 2 days at max after which it looks like any regular nail polish.
The wear time is quite good. I started noticing chipping around the edges after 5th day. You can always use a top coat to increase the lasting power.
