My B.Lab Haul and experience

B.Lab..doesn’t it sound like they are makeup scientists and have a lab full of beauty products where they experiment all day…like a bit of red…hint of peach..chemical X (by mistake) ..and three power puff lipsticks were born! Okay sorry for the PPG bit, it used to be one of my favourite cartoons, such nice cartoons they used to make in the 90s. Okay so its “beauty lab”.

Anyhoo, I got a chance to shop from there and here is what I got:

Maybelline Colossal Volume Mascara (had to stock up on that), Maybelline Colorsensational Autumn Rush (my first brown lipstick), Maybelline Moisture Extreme Brick Rose, Maybelline Chai Latte Quad

They have loads of international brands like Vichy, Victoria’s Secrets, Elizabeth Arden, YSL, Shesiedo, etc. I see they have also added Zoya to their list just recently. I’m so impressed with their increasing list of un-reachable brands. I hope they add Nyx and Elf to the list too.

They feature their monthly magazines which feature the latest trends, latest offers, helpful tips. etc.  For a shopper who is confused with so many big names, they have a section with weekly favourites where they shortlist all the hot products. Apart from browsing via brands, you can shop via problem areas. For example, if you are looking for anti-wrinkle products, you can filter the search. I like this feature, it saves so much of your time. You can also filter by price range, colours and skin tones! They also have a video section where they do day/night looks, base makeup and basic skin prep. They also have a section where they teach you all about CTM. So, basically if you are a virgin in the makeup and beauty world, you can learn too apart from shop..a one stop shop!

Right now they have an offer going on where you get 15% off when you register. Also, they keep coming up with discount codes for the brands they house. The last time I read, they had a 10% discount code for L’oreal. And about delivery and payment, apart from credit/debit cards they have COD option too. Currently,  they have free shipping. My only grievance is that they have no discounts on the products they offer. They occasionally come up with discount codes for certain products but generally sell on MRP. I placed my order on 11th October and got a confirmation call the next day. And it got delivered on the 15th. Since they are based in Mumbai, that’s reasonable.

You like the black box? I love it and will use it to store my things..always running out of makeup boxes. Overall I like that they have a wide variety of foreign brands which were inaccessible to us but I wish they come up with some discounts on their products.

By the way I could not login to my account through chrome and IE, but it works fine with firefox..weird.

Go to blab.co.in to check it out.

Disclaimer – I was given a gift voucher to shop but all opinions are 100% mine.
