MUA Poptastic Eyeshadow Palette Swatches, Review, EOTD

I might hazard a guess here and say that MUA probably named it poptastic to make the name more suited to the eye catching colors in it. But for me the name sticks out specifically to the bubble I live in ;)

MUA Claims: A show stopping collection of eyeshadows that will make your eyes pop.

Oh pop it does. Twelve bright and bold colors in one palette. What more could I have asked for. From a duo chrome purple to a turquoise, baby blues to a hot pink. This palette does make the eyes pop.

Packaging: The poptastic palette comes in the standard glossy black packaging most favored by MUA. Same old rectangular packaging with silver lettering on top. The eye shadows come in round little pans pretty much regular stuff. The palette closes nice and tight, so no worries when we carry it around in our bags where it clatters around with a multitude of stuff. I haven’t faced any opening issues with this till now.

Colours and Texture: The poptastic palette, just like its predecessors has classic MUA butter smooth eye shadows which glide on the eyes like feathers and blend so perfectly, you needn’t worry at all. There are twelve vibrant shades in the poptastic palette consisting of the following eye shadows:

A satin purple begins this palette the color being reminiscent of the purple of the verbena flowers. Next comes a matte to satin finish baby blue color. A satin lemon yellow comes next followed by a duo chrome deep purple blue. This one is probably the most difficult shade to get on camera. A satin yellow gold and a satin sky blue shade complete the top row of this palette.

The bottom row begins with a gorgeous satin sea green followed by a satin hot pink with maybe the barest hint of a duo chrome baby pink. A very pretty satin blue green and a shimmery powder pink come next. A shimmery light royal blue and a satin deep royal blue complete this palette.

The shades are exactly the ones you would see when you look through a soap bubble. Very pretty and vibrant shades.

The Goods about MUA Poptastic:

• Lasts for about five to six hours without base. Lasts the whole day with a base underneath them.
• Buttery smooth eye shadows.

The Bads about MUA Poptastic:

• Availability. These palettes are only available online.
• Fallout. You definitely need to clean up beneath your eyes after applying these.
