By now you must know about these cute makeup boxes Maybelline comes up with regularly in different themes. It started with the Christmas Edition, then they launched the Valentine Box and now its the Wedding Box..keeping in mind the bridal season. Basically these boxes come in 3 different colours: Red, Coral and Pink. So the red one has colour coordinated shades of red for the whole look, pink one has pink themed products and so on. What makes these boxes really attractive is that you get a good deal of products at low cost. This wedding edition has 7 products with a total retail value of Rs.2010 but you get them all with the box at Rs.1499 (25% discount right there!)

I’m so much in love with the Creamy Cinnamon blush. Fresh Coral is my favourite but I never thought a plain neutral blush would interest me so much. Beginners if blushes scare you or you end up looking like a clown always then get Creamy Cinnamon. Its so hard to go wrong with it and no amount of overdoing will make you look OTT. It gives a natural apricot flush to medium Indian skin tones.

Although I like Diamond Glow eyeshadows but this particular quad Gray Pink is not my cup of tea. Its too sheer and silver for warm skin tones. I would have liked something like Chai Latte with it. Infact its my favourite budget eyeshadow quad and I used it for the look too. Did my signature smokey bronze eye makeup. Rest of the products were kept same.

I was wearing my fav boyfriend Tshirt and realized it only after I started clicking the pictures! So I quickly grabbed mom’s dupatta and added a festive touch. And just then a cousin came and before I could say anything he said “you and your blog!” Actually everytime he comes to my room I’m either sitting with one eye done or two different eyeshadows on each eye or sometimes entirely different makeup on either side of the face. I swear I do decent makeup too but he never happens to see that!

Overall I like the concept of these boxes and the great discount you get with it. They are ideal for gifting purposes. You can gift this Wedding Edition to any newly wed or bride-to-be. Colour wise I would recommend the pink and coral box because they have some really gorgeous and pretty shades. So Maybelline what’s next? A college box? Mom box? Birthday Box? Anniversary Box? Blogger Box? Summer Box? See so many ideas right there!
