A Christmas Evening with The Body Shop, Makeup Trends, Christmas Goodies

xmas tree

I Know I’m a teeny weeny bit late in writing this. Alright a lot late! But who cares! I’m still gonna go ahead and write this. The Body Shop invited me to a christmas party. And I got the timings wrong! The party was at 12 in the afternoon and I thought it was at 4pm (damn! I’m getting old) so when I got there in the evening, it was all over! So I never made it to the party. Good thing I was already hanging out with my best friend or it would have been a bummer to go to a party all dressed up only to realise its over!

But the place was so well decorated and the otherwise plain Connaught Place outlet looked so beautiful and lively. There was a makeup artist who demonstrated the winter makeup smokey eye look:

To get the Burnished Beauty SMOKY COPPER look:

Step 1: 4 – STEP SMOKY EYE SPALETTE

Using the Smoky Copper Palette and flat brush, sweep shade 01 over the eyelid and up to the brow bone. Apply shade 02 over the entire lid. Use the slanted brush to work in shade 03 to the outer corners of the eyes. With the same brush, use shade 04 to define the lash line. For a 3D-effect, smooth shade 01 under the arch of the brow and onto inner corner of the eye.

Step 2: METALLIC EYE DEFINER PENCIL

Use Pure Gold to line the top and bottom inner corners of the eyes and along the inner-rim of the lower lid. To add intensity, take Copper Brown and draw a fine line along the top lash line, past the outer corners of the lid, and under the lower lashes.

Step 3: DAZZ LING ROCKS

Swirl the Slanted Kabuki Brush into Dazzling Rocks. Blow a kiss and blend onto the cheek hollow, up and along the cheekbones and onto temples.

Step 4: COL OURGLIDE ™ SHINE

For day, use Rare Coral; for night, Copper Mine. Apply straight from the bullet or with a Lipstick Spritz the Sparkler in Dazzling Copper over cheeks, shoulders, décolletageand hair.

Step 5: TH E SPARKLER

Spritz The Sparkler in Dazzling Copper over cheeks, shoulders, décolletage and hair.

These fabulous lip colours take lips from barely-there to sophisticate. Mix and match the shades to complement your skin tone and mood.
