The other day my sister visited us and the first thing I noticed was…her lipstick!
(obviously) When I got to know the shade she was wearing, I was elated because this particular shade was on my list from so long and I could finally test it on myself. Vegas Volt looked quite orange in the swatches I’ve seen online but the actual colour is way different.
I’ve clicked these swatches outside in natural light.

MAC Vegas Volt is an Amplified Creme lipstick. Amplified Creme lipsticks are really soft, creamy, shiny and are highly pigmented. Mac describes it as a “full power coral”. I would beg to differ. The colour is a bright milky peachy coral. It goes on opaque with a creamy rich finish. One of my favourite shades from Mac. I’ve never found a dupe of this particular shade anywhere, so it has already made it to my Mac-Must-Haves list. But I’ve heard it is a bit similar to Maybelline Color Sensational Coral Pop..which we don’t have here yet!

It looked a bit pale on my NC35-40 skin tone and washed me out but topping it off with a warmer lipgloss will solve the problem IMO.

Hun, it does look like the one from MAC image. If you liek it i like it. You know na that I am not very much into lipsticks. :) Lovely swatches!! I like the shade.

Looks good and best thing is it matches the color in pic! i love peachy pink or peachy brown colors a lot!
