Life was a total bliss apart from a few chubby issues when suddenly one day I closely examined my eyes which are generally called to be very beautiful and saw this that dark cloud of pandaness that had accumulated just beneath them. ME. Yes me who never had complains of uneven complexion and skin tone was turning into a panda and had under eye bags or rings. All my heavy exposure to LED, HD, amoled and lcd screen has caused dark circles

. Ok so like typical doctors after having found out the cause my search went on for the medicine. And the medicine in this case is a concealer. And after soooooo many trials  I landed upon this pot of magic name MAC STUDIO FINISH concealer SPF 35 which I will review and swatch today. My shade is NC 45.

My Review:

It is a magic pot. It just vanished away my concerns in a little wish wush. Yes this baby hides pandaism for a long stretch. It seems water proof to me and also it has spf 35 that protects my eyes from UV rays along with the coverage that it gives.

I have heard girls saying that this is not apt for the under eyes like the other variants of mac concealers are. But for me this is perfect. This creamy concealer doesn’t cake up in fine lines..but how am I supposed to have fine lines when I’m not even 20!

This studio fix range has a wide variety of shades to match every skin tone. It is aptly moisturising but not over greasy. The staying power is really gooooood on me and I have tried this in extreme hot afternoon in Delhi. It provides almost full coverage without looking artificial or madeup and doesnt require any colour corrector beneath, it has perfect tones of peachy orange and yellow balanced well. Only a small swirl from the pot is enough for the eyes so a little would go a long way.

Ladies in late 30s or 40s might not love this as it might settle in the inner corners or wrinkles. Also it doesnt give complete matte finish like the MAC prolong wear concealer and hence after 1-2 hrs you might see a bit of shine underneath the eyes which can be fixed with a setting powder (girls please do suggest some good setting powders for under eyes). This is strictly a covering or camouflage concealer and not a brightening one like the the YSL Touche Eclat or the Lancome one which I tried at par to this.

The packaging has a see through top lid and the sturdy case makes it travel friendly.

Pros of MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer:

• Gives medium to full coverage
• Doesn’t need a color corrector before using it
• Lasts a really long time
• Not very greasy or creamy
• Doesn’t look cakey
• The shades have the right balance of orange and yellow so doesn’t look ashy

Cons of MAC Studio Finish Concealer:

• Doesn’t give complete matte finish and the under eyes get a bit shiny after 1-2 hours if a setting powder is not used
• Might settle into the fine lines
• Pricey. With escalated mac pricing this one costs 1400 bucks

Over MAC Studio Finish Concealer is one of the best full coverage under eye and spot concealer in the market and l I will repurchase this until I don’t find something that’s even more impressive.
