MAC sheen supreme range is my latest venture in MAC. I have tried lipsticks from almost all the different ranges MAC has. Frost finish is not my cup of tea so I don’t have any interest in them. I must tell you that Sheen supreme is a boon dry lips girls. I can see this range being a hit in India. I’ve the shade Insanely It which I will review and swatch today. MAC describes about this range to be combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass, Sheen Supreme creates the perfect hybrid – with no compromise. Lightweight, non-sticky, slick to apply and comfortable to wear. This is a must-have for all those who have craved this kind of fusion.
Insanley It is described as watermelon pink color. I was on a hunt for a pink shade like this and I got it. Eureka!! I love the name..it is just so me Insanely mad. Okay seriously I am mad about MAC Lipsticks. The color is a very bright fuschia pink with hints of magenta blue it it. There is no shimmer. The magenta blue sheen creates a beautiful duo chrome effect on lips without looking OTT.
As I mentioned, sheen supreme range is a boon for dry lips girls. These are very glossy. The lips looks juicy and shiny. The texture is very soft and smooth. This glides on my lips like butter. I wonder it may melt in hot condition as it is so creamy. Two swipes are enough to cover pigmentation on lips. The formula is very light and often feels like you wore nothing on lips. This can easily replaced your lip balm as it is housed with all Balm properties.
The staying power is not so good, it stays for about 3-4 hours on me. The color fades off evenly. Re application is required.
MAC Sheen Supreme range lipstick comes in glossy long cylindrical bullet. This looks really very classy to me. The lipstick also comes with a round tip. I am not a fan of round tip as I find it a little difficult to apply on edges of my lips.

Do I Recommend: MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick Insanely It is a bright watermelon pink shade. I am not sure if I will buy any other shade but I am particularly looking for Korean Candy. Buy yes this is a hybrid of balm and lipstick, so it is very much moisturizing. I will be using it more on in cold weather. All your dry lips girls must give it shot if you like moisturizing lipsticks.
