Review of Antonio Lopez Fuchsia Lip Palette by MAC with Candy Yum Yum, Moxie, Violeta
By Contributor: Samannita
Lipstick on a girl is like like wine on lips. And being a crazy lover of lipsticks my desire is to collect different ones and this time I am here to review and swatch another limited edition lip product from MAC. But a lip palette called Antonio Lopez 3 Lips Fuchsia instead of lipstick. MAC always comes up with beautiful packaging but its a pity that most of the LE hardly get launched in India. This Antonio Lopez collection created a bit of confusion in India. Some said it got launched and was sold out whereas others said it never got launched. All I can say is it never launched in my city. So I had to ask my friend to get this MAC lip palette and from eBay. And after a month of waiting its finally in my hand.
MAC released their collaborative collection with Antonio Lopez in September 2013, which included a number of lovely products in form of palettes. Hence they are quite pricey which might burn your pocket. Of all the items in this collection, the fuchsia lip palette consisting of MAC Candy Yum Yum, Violeta and Moxie called to me the most and I just couldn’t deny it.
My Review:
MAC 3 Lips Fuchsia comes in a nice sturdy box which contain 3 full size lipsticks in palette form along with a 316SE MAC lip brush. The 3 lipsticks are Candy yum yum, Moxie and Violeta .
The palette is small and travel friendly due to the sturdy packaging. It comes up with MAC 316SE (smaller version) thus easy to apply along with a small mirror to touch up anywhere. The label along with the signature of Antonio gives a quirky look to it.
Coming to MAC Candy Yum Yum, it is a bright pink with strong blue tones which will suit mostly fair skin tones. It look neon on my lips but I love the matte finish.
MAC Moxie is avery beautiful shade and has become my favorite among all the three in the palette. It is a nice medium pink red matte lipstick that looks quite similar to MAC All Fired Up on my lips.
MAC Violeta is a shimmery violet lipstick which frankly speaking I can never dare to wear as I think purple washes me and makes me look like a vampiress! So basically its a waste for me .
The lipstick are same shade, texture and quantity wise as in the bullet packaging. Among all three I found Violeta to be medium pigmented. The wear time of all lipsticks (except Violeta which I never wear) is 6-7 hours on lips. The shade selection of Fuchsia palette is pretty nice as I think one can mix and match the shades to create her own shade. I highly recommend this palette for fair to medium Indian skin tones but it is quite versatile so it is meant for all.
I am always addicted to cute packaging and this palette gives me utter satisfaction of having different and funky limited edition lipsticks of MAC.

Pros of MAC Antonio Lopez 3 Lips Fuchsia Palette:
Nice cute LE packaging.
Comes with a lip brush and mirror thus easy for touch ups.
Travel friendly because of the compact and sturdy packaging.
Lipsticks have a nice variety for fair to medium Indian skin tones.
The shades can be mixed and matched to create custom shades.
Cons of MAC Antonio Lopez 3 Lips Fuchsia Palette:
Limited edition.
All the shades separately might not meant for everyone Indian skin tone but still one can go for mix and match.
Price: $27.50
VNA Rating: 4/5
My recommendation: I bought the lipstick palette simply because I am addicted to LE packaging. You can buy the shades separately and they are pretty dupeable too so if you love to collect limited edition packaging then you can try to get it from eBay else you can easily skip it.
