Lush has a super quirky, fun tone of voice and the name of this Bath Bomb is no exception! But before everything else, if any weirdos have landed here looking for something else, go away right now! Yes ladies, I know Lush is quite expensive especially for bath products. But I fall hook, line and sinker for pretty products and pretty packaging. Awwww, so pwetty was my reaction when I set my eyes on this pinky, lavender bath bomb. Pale pink with flashes of hot pink and flowers…can’t really go wrong with that with a girl? So SexBomb

became my first Bath Bomb from Lush. I’ve used their Bubble Bars and loved them, so the Bath Bombs were calling out to me. The bubble bars are incredibly pampering and indulgent, let’s see how their distant cousins, the       bath bombs fared in this game by this review. Also showing you a mini demo on how to use a bath bomb.

How to use? Fill your bathtub with warm water, drop in the Bath Bomb and lay back to enjoy its lovely color and gorgeous fragrance.

My Review:

Lush says this is their best selling bath bomb. It looks appealing enough to eat with a tiny flower stuck inside the bath bomb on top. The fragrance is floral (not sweet but delicate), in a very feminine and sexy way. Typical of most Lush products, my storage cupboard smells good, the bath smells great, and so do I post use for around 3-4 hours.

Here is my demo on how to use a bath bomb:

Because I didn’t want to dilute my first experience with the bath bomb, I used the whole thing and put into the bath. It fizzed quickly at the bottom of the bath and the color of the bath turns a pretty, pale pink gradually (however, it didn’t leave any stains on my bath tub – so cleaning was a non issue).

The rose flower on the top comes out of the bath bomb, the petals bloomas it soaks water and floats on the surface. The Bath bomb is unique in the sense it makes your bath a little bit, may I say, entertaining? The water post dissolution is mildly moisturizing, and since I live in a super humid climate – I could afford to skip the lotion post this. It’s a nice way to treat and pamper yourself once in while. But the indulgence stops at the fragrance and moisturizing water. With Lush’s bubble bars, on the other hand, the pampering experience goes to a different level with oodles and oodles on fragrant bubbles!

• No packaging waste

What Doesn’t work about Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb:

• The put down price is quite high!
• Not as indulgent as the Lush bubble bars!

Will I re-purchase? I enjoyed using the Bath Bomb but not as much as the Bubble Bars. So I will stick to trying other variants and fragrances in Lush’s extensive bubble bar collection.
