With BB and CC creams ruling the beauty world, they have quite taken over heavy duty foundation routine for beauty experts. Numerous brands, from budget friendly to high end, have come up with their own version and now our very own Lotus Herbals introduced the Xpress Glow 10-in-1 Daily Beauty Creme

which I will review today with a budget friendly price tag and a huge list of promises. I spotted this little love of bb cream in the counters when I went for shopping for the upcoming Diwali. Although it was a mere impulsive buy, I still feel the tinted moisturizer definitely deserves a try. Read on to know about the detailed review of this Beauty creme.

Lotus Herbals Claims: Lotus Xpress Glow 10-in-1 Daily Beauty Crème SPF-25 is the ultimate hydrating treatment based crème which gives a semi matte flawless finish and keeps skin hydrated for long.

My Review of Lotus Xpress Glow 10 in 1 Daily Beauty Creme SPF 25:

Packaging – the bb/cc cream comes in a bright fuchsia pink packaging. The tube has a nozzle mouth with a silver screw cap. The packaging is a bang on and pure love. Although it sounds funny and absolutely irreverent, I bought out of an impulse only because I adored the packaging so much. The nozzle dispenses the right amount of crème you desire and absolutely fuss free while travelling. I often carry this lotus herbals beauty creme in my hand bag and so far it never caused any trouble at all.

The cream comes in three shades for now but sadly there were no testers available at any counters. I picked up the shade X1 Royal Pearl which suited my NC 30 skin pretty well. The crème has the right consistency which matches the regular CC creams but feels very light weight on the skin. It blends into the skin like a dream and never accentuates the fine lines or dry flakes at all. This is the best feature of the lotus crème as it will suit the normal to dry skin the best. Oily skin might not love it xpress glow creme much as it slightly makes the skin greasy but it will be a perfect for winters.

The tinted crème claims certain benefits for the skin, among which some are true and some are not. Firstly, the claim of covering pimple spots are partially true. There are some very faint acne marks on cheeks which easily gets hidden but very dark spots will definitely require a good concealer. Secondly, the claim of even tone is true. Xpress glow 10 in 1 not only evens out my tone but also brightens the skin to a large extent. It doesn’t make my skin ashy but adds a glow which I really love. Thirdly, it offers to provide coverage but I found it to be minimal. With the first layer it appears like a tinted glowing crème but upon the application of second layer it gives a medium coverage. Lastly, the moisturization is true as it thoroughly hydrates the skin although it might be slightly disappointing for oily skin. I have acne prone skin but thankfully it never broke me out.

The SPF 25 is great for a crème as it protects the skin from tanning. The lotus xpress glow also doesn’t oxidizes in humid weather which is another phenomenal feature of it. The staying power is around 3-4hours in humid weather and after that my skin feels slightly oily even though I use a mattifying powder on top.

Overall: after BB and CC creams, this one is a fresh change for my skin. Although I have oily skin but it will work perfectly as a moisturizer-cum-CC cream in the upcoming winter. 1. I have oily skin and winters are here. Perfect time. I am surely going to give this a try. It would be a nice change from the L’oreal BB cream that I use everyday. :)
