Review and Price of Tecni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo by L’Oreal Professional
By Contributor: Srishti
Shampoo and winters..ahh its a pain in the ass!! And with God’s grace, super oily hair like mine, need wash every alternate day. To help myself with this pain, I recently ventured into purchasing the L’Oreal Professional Tecni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo which I will review today and show you some of the before after test pictures I took of my hair. Its the first dry shampoo in India, I guess now BBlunt and TIGI have dry shampoos too. These all are available online to buy, thanks to online shopping websites.
L’Oreal Professionnel Claims: Texturing dry shampoo. Create big airy volume and fresh texture with light style control. Instantly makes hair feel and smell fresh. Long lasting effect.
Packaging: It comes in a light weight, sleek and slender white can bottle with a spray nozzle. Unfortunately, I lost the bottle’s cap to my carelessness.
Texture: The texture is powdery, not flaky
How to use it: Keep it 6 inches from the scalp and spray. Brush your hair the portion of your hair where you sprayed the dry shampoo properly so that the shampoo is evenly distributed.
Fgragrance: The smell is quite fresh Fresh
Having an oily scalp is not exactly a boon. I thought this dry shampoo would be a solution to all my emergencies and lazy times. But sadly no! The portion of my hair I spray it on, definitely feels fresh and new. Yes, it gives the much needed volume to my hair and does not make the hair stiff. They are as good as freshly washed. But this bliss has never lasted for very long. Its a happiness of 2-3 hours be fore my hair feel oily, dirty and greasy again. So it doesn’t last for even a day on my oily hair.
I also happened to try this dry shampoo on my mother’s hair which are completely opposite to mine, I mean they are very dry. To my surprise they lasted a day on her hair. (Pity us girls with oily hair) Atleast dry hair win somewhere! This would be good for you if you don’t have an oily scalp. It can hide the oil and dirt but can’t control it.
PROS of L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo:
- Its a plastic bottle so very travel friendly
- The texture is light and powdery
- Life saver at times when you are feeling lazy or are in a hurry
- Suitable for dry hair
CONS of L’Oreal Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo:
- Not so pocket friendly
- Not of much use for oily hair
Price: Rs.950 for 150ml (soo disappointing!)
VNA Rating: 3/5
Final Verdict: For all those lazy bums with dry hair, it’s worth buying and all those girls with oily hair – YOU WOULDN’T WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY. Hope my review was useful. If you have any good dry shampoos to recommend then please do.
