Its christmassss!! My favorite time of the year. I have no idea why! Its all so wintry and new and nice- lots of sales everywhere, cute hats and jackets, red boots and cuter socks. I love winter and the celebration of Christmas! So on that note, we have our review and swatches of 5^th

My Review:

The lipstick comes in a black sturdy tube with a color-coded red plastic click cap- sleek and easy to carry, as well as to pick it out from among its sister shades!

The texture, like the others is very rich and creamy yet not glossy- a pleasure to apply as it glides evenly and easily on lips. It does not emphasize my lip flaws at all, instead creates a healthy pout.

The shade ravishing red is a gorgeous festive bright red which pops out and uplifts any look! It lacks yellowish/orangey tones or blue ones which makes it a very neutral and wearable red! Perfect for the season. This is my favorite shade out of the 6.

The pigmentation is great and needs just a couple of swipes to get the full-on color on lips. The wearing power of the lipstick is impressive as well, lasting easily beyond 5-6 hours without feathering/bleeding or settling into lip lines. It leaves behind a strong stain as it fades which stays on and on.

Do I recommend? Being a nude lover in general, I do have my red phases as well. I adore my Russian red and viva glam 1 and this surprisingly joins my favorites! It’s a gorgeous bright yet wearable neutral red with great texture, pigmentation and staying power! And since mac lipsticks price is almost 2k now anyway so Rs.999 doesn’t seem that bad once you manage to forget its drugstore.
