L’Oreal Paris Launches the L’OR Electric Collection – Cannes 2012 Special

News! L’oreal Paris has come out with a new collection to specially celebrate its 15years at the Cannes Film Festival. The range consists of some truly electrifying shades and rightly so named- L’OR Electric. When I told my mom that the L’oreal people have got this new range called ‘electric’, her first reaction was “are they getting into the electronics..hair dryers and stuff?”

The range consists of 3 new Color Riche lipsticks, 3 Infallible eye shadows, 3 coloured eye liners, 1 black liner and a hair colour.
The lipsticks are: Burning Sunset, Red Passion, Sparkling Amethyst
Eye Shadows: Forever Pink, Midnight Blue, Flashback Silver
Super Liners: Luminizer Hazel, Blue, Brown, Black
Hair Colour: 323 Dark Chocolate (Sonam special)

Okay here is a closer look at the shades:
Red Passion– Seems like a bright orange red by the looks of it (refer above picture, I’m guessing the model is wearing this lipstick)

Burning Sunset: A bright metallic coral shade IMO

Sparkling Amethyst: A plumy wine colour. Well the name itself has “sparkling” so I’m guessing it must have some shimmer. To see how it looks in person see Sonam’s picture in the end.

Eye make lovers fear not! Here are the 3 eye shadows from this range:

Midnight Blue: a shimmery ‘midnight blue’

Flashback Silver: a shimmery silver grey

Forever Pink: a shimmery peach pink

Sonam’s Dark Chocolate 323. Will she be wearing this at the Cannes too? :D

And here is the lady herself at the launch of the L’OR Electric range in Mumbai a couple of days ago.

She is wearing electric blue pants to with the ‘electric’ theme. Smart huh. I’ve exactly same pants, shown in my clothing haul and outfit of the day post. The whole makeup is done with the electric range. The lipstick is Sparkling Amethyst as she said in one of her tweets.

She will be joined by 35 other representatives of L’Oréal Paris from across the globe including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jennifer Lopez, Cheryl Cole, Frieda Pinto, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and Bianca Balti, etc…all sporting the L’OR Electric range!

She will walk the red carpet alongside Gong Li, Andie MacDowell at the closing ceremony of the Festival de Cannes.
