The final part of the three step system is the moisturiser. I’ve the Light Repair moisturiser to suit my oily/combination skin. They also have this moisturiser for dry, matured and sensitive skin.

It has light creamy consistency and smells of essential oils, typical of Liz Earle products.Includes borage and avocado to lightly moisturise and bal ance the skin. Initially I was doing it all wrong. Full two pumps made my skin so shiny that I decided to give it a not so great review. But then with a few hit and trials I got the quantity right. I now use less than a pump for my whole face and now it suits to the T. And since I need such less amount I think it will last me for a long time. It isn’t heavy and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy but imparts a dewy glow. I’ve been using all the three products together so I can’t really pin point what exactly is the reason behind the dewy glow but I think its the moisturiser.
What I love:
  • Gives a glowy sheen and not the shine to the face.
  • Is light enough for my combination/oily skin. The skin test I took on their site advised me this. You can take the test too to decide which version to buy.
  • Does not clog the pores.
  • Repairs the skin as it claims to make it silky soft and smooth.
  • It did not break me out. Thumbs Up.
  • Smells pleasantly of essential oils, nothing overpowering.
  • Less than a pump is more than enough for my full face. Would last a long while.

What I don’t like:

  • It made my skin oily in 4-5 hours when I went out in the scorching 40 dergee+ heat of Delhi yesterday and I had to set it up with a compact.
  • I would have preferred some spf in it because I don’t like adding additional layer of sunscreen on top of my moisturiser.
Recommendation- The moisturiser is one of the best around. You should give this a try. I really am in love with the Liz Earle three step skin care routine and I have noticed my skin seems to have cleared up and I finally got rid of the redness and inflamed skin since they are all herbal and natural. I won’t be changing my routine any time soon.
