Lingerie Solutions and Latest Additions to my amanté Collection

Here is one of my best kept secrets. I buy lingerie as I buy lipsticks. Meaning: Total addiction. Right now I’ve a separate drawer in my vanity just for lipsticks and yes my lingerie has a separate drawer too but its overflowing..one is just not enough. It all started with plain black and white, soon turquoise and pink joined the party and now we have a house full of colours and textures. Newest add itions to my collection are these pretty amanté brassieres. They are here for a reason..fulfilling a specific purpose as all my other inner wear. Exactly. Or maybe because they are just sooooo pwetty!

First up is this maroon bra called amanté Floral Romance. Its my first ruby red and in my opinion deep maroons flatter our tan Indian skin as much as general blacks do. And no maroon is not “aunty wala shade” any longer. It reminds me so much of MAC Diva!

Second is this pretty grape bra called Smooth Moves Lace wings. Look at the above picture and it does look like it has wings of its own. Lavender is the colour of the year but I can’t find anything close to lavender so this one will do for now. Same family!

The satin black one is true to its name, Perfect Lift Bra. It fits and lifts..and yes I’m so very natural at rhyming! It has this swarovski crystals thing going on the mid section which just adds a beautiful touch.

This nude one serves a lot of purpose and I was really trying to find a good one like this from a long time. First its nude so it will totally work with my white Tshirts this summer. White on white shows but white on nude never shows. See I’m useful like that! Okay! So the other major reason I love it is that it can used without the straps too. Since the band is wider than normal bras and has got 3 hooks so it is never uncomfortable. Plus it has no cleavage and the front section comes all the way till the top so it never slides down. With my recent lace obsession I’ve bought so many tops and dresses with sheer lace shoulders or infact no shoulders so this Multiway Bra is now a staple. Totally recommend.

And in case you want lingerie solutions for a very low back dress then bra extenders come very handy. Look at the 3rd pic below. You basically get these extenders which you attach to the hooks of your normal bra and then cross it all over your tummy and then back. Very handy.

And now something I’ve been wanting to tell you girls from a long time. I’ve started working out! I joined the Jillian Michelle 30 day shred and I’m on Level 2 right now. It totally works in case you are wondering. I have lost almost 2 inches of belly fat in 2 weeks and that’s only with a 30min workout daily. But boy those 30mins are a pain! That girl is so cruel and doesn’t let you rest for a second. And since I don’t have weights, I use water bottles instead which my family finds very funny I don’t know why! So ever since I started working out, I have felt the need for a good quality sports bra. I don’t have it yet but gonna order soon.
