My mail box is always filled with colourful news. This time its from our very dear desi brand, Lakme. Last year Lakme launched some really good peices with the Absolute range (I’m talking about the moonlit highlighter, day blushes, nail paints and pump up lip glosses). This time they have got Lip and nail tints! Read on for the full story.
This summer Lakmé brings you a vivacious collection of colour tints to make your lips and nails ‘pop’ in true diva style. The Lakmé Absolute POP TINT collection is a kaleidoscope of bright and happy colours, which captures the spirit and exuberance of the contemporary Indian woman. Turning up the heat a few degrees, bold hues of neons, sorbets and jellies from this limited edition collection represent the style statement for spring/summer 2013 internationally. Drawing inspiration from this collection, designer Namrata Joshipura will bring these colours to life, taking Pop Tints from skin to silhouette as she presents the grand finale show at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013
. Style diva Kareena Kapoor is sure to turn heads as Joshipura’s showstopper.

The market is filled with these cute chubby lip colours. First it was Clinique, then Colorbar, Revlon Just Bitten was launched few days back and now Lakme pop tints. Btw I’m really liking this new name…makes me pop a few for myself! But the price is a bit too steep..well to early to comment on that since a lot depends on the quality. You better be good honey!
