Id like to tell a lip trick too that I follow to keep my lips soft….It’s very important to exfoliate our lips once in a while to get rid of dead skin cells and keep them soft..Once in two weeks I mix olive oil & sugar and gently exfoliate my lips with this mixture…It really does make a difference… :)
I plan to spend the Valentine’s Day by hanging out with my pals. I am planning to watch “Roy” on V- Day.

A year ago i tried this trick for managing lip pigmentation and now, its my go to trick. I make a concoction of beetroot juice, glycerine and honey (one batch stays good for three months since glycerine acts as a preservative) and apply every night. Thrice a week, I add this to sugar for a nice lip scrub and often, i apply this as a stain with a nice lip balm over it for a natural flushed lips look. The trick has made my lips really rosy and smooth.

I love my lips. i apply ghee at night before sleeping ..So that when i wake up my lips are hydrated,soft n supple.I also exfoliate them once a week with a mixture of lemon juice n sugar.It protects my lip from pigmentation n removes dead cells too.Also,I use Lakme Lip love lipcare lipbalm as a lipstick…cos it gives color as well as SPF protection n hydration too.I dont feel the need to apply a lipstick when i hv Lakme Liplove with me.

my lip trick : what i do is .. first i’ll crush so rose petals with honey and later i’ll add sugar… bczz adding honey protects our lips as moisturizer while we r scrubbing them with rose pettals & sugar.. later i moisturize my lips with lips balms.. me & my sisters r lips balm addicts..
and for valentine day.. me & my 2 sisters r planning to go to the beach & later for a movie .. because MY BIG SISTER GOING TO GET MARRIED….

– Daily application of beetroot juice keeps your lips pink and healthy.

My Lip trick is very simple and effective.Lips are more tender in nature and is a basic feature that represents your face and expression. Hence they need to be kept crack free and moist. To get a natural pink color on your lips, its very important to follow a proper lip care regime on regular basis.
I Make a mixture with 1 teaspoon lime juice, 4 drops of Honey, 2 drops of Glycerine.

As far as the question goes.. I will be spending Valentine’s Day with my family as I feel my papa and mumma are my first love. Also it’s Mumma Papa’s 25th Valentine’s Day together me and my bro has planned to cut cake to celebrate their union and their love.
And my favourite lip care trick is applying mustard oil into my navel daily after bath which keeps my lips naturally pink and healthy. Also, I use lip balm with SPF while going out and reapply it after few hours and meals.

Since I’m not Bold enough to wear bright lipsticks, my favorite lipstick trick while wearing bright lipsticks is blotting them with Tissue paper which converts them into a lovely and wearable Lip Stain.
Also I use my toothbrush to exfoliate my lips. It removes all dead cell and has reduced pigmentation.
I don’t have a partner and my mid term exams starting from 16th, so I’m going to spend the V-Day studying :(

This valentines day I would just be spending at home, doing a face fack, munching a chocolate and reading my favorite book.
My favorite lip trick is my homemade almond lip scrub. I soak and grind almonds coarsely, mix with some olive oil and apply for lips. Its both exfoliating as well moisturizing for dry, chapped lips.
Hey! :) My favorite lip trick is to apply a little bit of concealer on the lips to neutralize it so that, when i apply a lipstick, the true color of the lipstick comes out during application! this trick helps when i want a particular lipstick to look a little more brighter on me. It helped me a lot with pink lips! :D i do apply a balm underneath matte lipsticks and exfoliate my lips regularly so that creamy lipsticks look their best on my lips! :) also, my valentines’ day plan is to go to my favorite pizza joint with my girlfriends! that will be followed by all of us going clubbing with our better halves! :)

We are both doctors and thus our work keeps us soooper busy day in and out. We both hsve taken off and planned for a movie and fine dinner. Hoping for a rejuvinating love day. We both were looking forward to a day off and V day is an awesome escapeout.
Regarding lipcare.i regularly apply desi ghee,scrub biweekly with olive oil and regular scrub,put a balm below matte lipcolors and wear a spf balm out in sun.

My lip care trick
1. Slice a cucumber and rub them gently on the lips. wash off with water after ten minutes.
2. Apply pure honey or pure ghee all over the lips.
My favourite lip trick is to exfoliate my lips with a mild face scrub and my lips are ready for lip balm and lip make-up.
I make sure I never lick my lips and use a soft toothbrush to gently exfoliate it.

my lip care regime is quite simple; I drink lots and lots of water to keep myself hydrated, apply malai on lips at night before sleeping, if lips gets chapped I apply ghee over roti on lips and it cures them, apply strawberry crush to get those pinkish lips :)

For me, my lips are the most important asset of my body. And I take maximum care to keep it soft & supple. I always keep my lips moisturised by applying a lip balm. During the day I always apply the lip balm with an SPF in it to keep them protected from the harmful UVA & UVB rays of the sun. And night time I apply a moisturising lip balm to keep my lips moisturised while I sleep. I also apply a lip balm before I apply my lipstick as it gives a smooth base & the lipstick glides on the lips without leaving any crease of the lipstick on the lips. Once a week I scrub my lips with natural organic sugar powder & also apply fresh milk cream mixed with a bit of organic honey on my lips just before my bath to keep them soft & moisturised. So that’s my lip care regime. It’s a small regime but I do it with lots of care :) just like Lakme, ” It’s a little tint with lots of love!”

well my plan for the valentine’s day is: i and my valentine is going to visit an old age home…where we will celebrate Vday with all the people there…we will cut cake, have some snacks party…play some fun games…listen to stories of the old people…and their experience…then have some fun awards and gifts for the old people…

Every morning i apply few drops of honey on my lips and massage slowly, after few min i rinse it off with fresh water! This acts as natural moisturizer and adds glow to lips!!!

Later before heading to bed, i make use of rose water to hydrate my lips..which in turn gives a soothing effect.

I don’t usually celebrate V-day but this time we are celebrating coz he has been out of the city for 2 months so it’s special. I made white sauce pasta for him n went to his office (he has a separate one n I have duplicate keys). I decorated the room with balloons n also putted photo frame on his desk. Served pasta..! He came n was sooooo happy he just hugged me for 15 minutes :D I am writing this in-front of him n he is smiling. :P <3
N my lip tip is that… after brushing my teeth i rub the brush on my lips to exfoliate them. I also apply bb cream/foundi on my lips so that the color pops out. Before applying lipstick i always use nude colored lip liner to line and fill my lips and trust me it increases longevity of lippies.

So this 2015 s Valentines Day is going to be bit special as I am in love for the first time since my birth till now …and we both have our weekoffs on that day …so there s no point that my family will allow me to go out on that particular weekend as parents now a days are very much alert in these matters and to unfold the surprise we just told our families and our engagement is due ..but still they won’t allow us to be expressive in a way that we roam and spend time here and there …now they have become more strict :P …so coming back to Valentines day which is falling on 14th what I have decided is I will be going to office in eyes of my families and he will of course be out of his area in any which way he wanted …but here is a catch ..I will ask one of his friend to accompany him and will pretend that I am not coming to see him …in meantime I will be collecting a collage that I already made which has our first movie date tickets , our first pictures , his childhood pics that I sneaked from aunty few days back ,his love notes and mine too…with this collage I have also created a box in which I have kept all the beautiful memories in writing so that he could read them and feel how much I love him, after this I am going to go to his favourite restaurant and will buy a specially designed cake with a wrist watch of Rado and then I am going to burst into his place and surprise him…and later on as arrangements are already fixed we are going to have musical night dinner with dance in cyber hub Gurgaon..and here is something about dance I am a non dancer and just from day before yesterday joined dancing classes to surprise him …hope all these not only brings smile on his face however makes this day one of the most treasured ones for us too ….and after doing all these I do need to pamper my self and that’s possible with our own lakme saloon s experience that I would die to take…hence this is the reason I deserve this gift card ..

thank you for ur awesome giveaway..my lip trick is always possibly trying to kip in soft and supple..since i have a pink lips olready i prefer to kip i natural most of the time..and i always prefer to kip it hydrated by drinking plenty of water and applying lip balms most of the time..:)
I’m very particular about lip care for which I make sure
–> I exfoliate my lips once in a week with a natural home-made scrub of 1tsp sugar mixed with 4-5 drops of Olive oil, this helps remove all the dead skin cells on the lips and helps avoid the lips to turn black.
–> I always keep my lips hydrated, I always use a transparent Lip Balm with an SPF to help protect it from the sunlight.
–> And always wear that smile! Coz if you’re happy your Lips will also be Happy!!

This was my first Valentine’s Day after marriage. So i celebrated it with my Hubby. We went for shopping and had dinner together :-) Yeah the day was special but for us Valentine’s Day is 365 days a year, so every day is very special for us and we celebrate each day loving each other :-)
And for the Lips….I LOVE my LIPS….so always want them to be hydrated by applying Lip Balm 2-3 times a day or whenever needed….whether its summer or winter i never skip my Lip Balm.
For the Lip trick i daily gently exfoliate them with a soft bristles toothbrush and once in a while with a DIY scrub made with brown sugar, honey & olive oil/almond oil. Its the secret to my Healthy n Sexy Lips :-*

Firstly I’d like to thank you for this wonderful giveaway. I’ve been a fan of VanityNoApologies for far too long and have always landed up here for my beauty and fashion fix. My Valentine’s Day was pretty amazing and was even better than how I planned. I met my boyfriend for the first time on 14th Feb three years ago and so this V-Day was pretty important for us as we completed three glorious years of being in each other’s lives. I ended up spending the day not only with him but with everyone I love – my best friends, my family, his family and friends and with our dogs (our furry best friends!) and we then ended up going on a very romantic dinner. It was just fantastic and truly one of the best Valentine’s day I’ve had. All for a good cause, you see? *smirks* A lip trick I think every girl should know is that a soft bristle toothbrush is her lip’s best friend. I use a soft bristle toothbrush and petroleum jelly to gently exfoliate my lips and once I’m done they are pink and so soft! The other lip trick I recommend would be to line the lips from the outer corner in so as to create a more full, round lip shape as lining from the middle out tends to create a pointy cupid’s bow! I am single and so i spent valentine with my best girl friends and had lot of fun shopping, eating chocolates and watching movies! My favorite lip tricks is to use baking soda to exfoliate lips so that lipstick stays on for long and doesn’t bleed into cracks. One should exfoliate them once or twice a week with a little baking soda. Here’s how you should do it: Add 1 tsp baking soda to 1-1/2 tsp olive oil (or sweet almond, or jojoba) and scrub lightly over lips. Rinse off. Alternatively, you could use water instead of oil – it just won’t give you as much softness, but it WILL make your lips even smoother (because it’s more exfoliating). Be sure to scrub lightly, though, or you risk tearing your delicate skin. This always works and is a life saver!

Take it with small amount of toothpaste, using a circular motion, go over your lips with it. Do it gently so your lips don’t get sore. Then rub a dollop of petroleum jelly across your lips. I do this twice a week with no failure.
Added to it,A good diet plays an important part in having healthy lips. Just like the rest of body, lips need nutrients too.Green leafy veges and loads if fruits are a part of my daily diet…
Its equally imp. to keep the lips hydrated so min. of 6-8glasses of water daily..
Last but not the least,,I ensure to take off my lipsticks every night using a cotton ball and appliying a lip balm to have smiling night :)

Trick for my lips- Lips Care is an integral part of the beauty regimen.It is because the skin of the lips is very sensitive and easily tender..Take any brush old tooth, moisten and thin the dip pinch of sugar. Rub your lips with a light hand with this brush.Wash off and reapply the lip balm.Apply honey to my lips a few minutes and wash for a soft lips.Honey is a natural moisturizer….. I soak some almonds overnight and grind them coarsely, mix with olive oil and apply on lips. It is a good exfoliant. Once in a while, I also make a scrub with coffee-powder and coconut oil. I use a lip balm overnight for moisturization. When I go out, I use a lip balm with SPF. To lighten dark lips, I use a mixture of honey and lemon juice. Once a week, I apply a slice of beetroot to get naturally pinkish lips.
Okay! so everybody has a secret face facial i have a my very own Lip facial :P i tend to have a lot of wrinkles and dead skin on my lips..so i do this often :P
I mix mashed papaya and a 1/4 th tea sp of honey to make a lip paste. Apply it and allow it
to dry. wash off with water offcourse :P
Then brush my lips gently with a soft toothbrush, remove the dead skin ( yes! i have a small baby brush for it separately), then comes the lip pack,
Mix a pinch of cinnamon with oil (i use olive/coconut ) and apply it on the
lips, keeps them wrinkle free, i also try and use lip balms with spf :)

The Trick I use for my Lips, is I keep them moisturized with lip balms or moist lipsticks, during night I use simple humble Vaseline to keep them from chapping.

Anyways, now talk about my lip care regime and my some secret recipes to keep pout healthy and pink.
1) I always make sure to exfoliate my lips once or twice in a week. When I feel too lazy to try any DIY, I simply use Forest Essentials Lip Scrub. But when I have even time, I prepare and use some of my trusted and effective DIY lip scrubs. One of them is to mix vaseline and crushed white sugar together and gently massage the scrub on my lips. Second DIY is to mix few drops of lemon juice, crushed white sugar, turmeric and apply this paste on lips and gently message. these easy scrubs helps in removing the dead skin from lips and make them healthy and pink.
2) I am sure all the ladies are well aware about the importance of pink lips. Imagine you are all dressed up from head to toe but your dark lips can let you down. Though I am blessed with pinkish lips, but I always use home-made recipes, so that they will remain pinky pinky. the first one is to rub a slice of beetroot on lips. the second one is crush few petals of rose and apply the paste on lips. these easy and natural ingredients helps in lightening the dark lips and make them baby pink.
3) No matter how tired I am feeling at the end of the day, but I always make sure to remove all the make up from my face as well as from my lips. Removing lipstick from lips is as important as removing all the make up and dirt from the skin. It helps our lips to breathe. Also sleeping with lipsticks on the lips, damages our lips in long term.
4) Next step is hydrating my body and my lips. drinking water not only helps in hydrating our skin and makes it healthy, but it also helps in hydrating our lips and makes it plum and nourished. I ensures that I drink water daily to keep my body hydrated.
5) This step is the most important step, that is to keep the lips nourished. I have this habit of applying and reapplying lip balm after every few hours or whenever I feel to. Having SPF in the lip balm is another which works as a bonus for a balm. I always opt for such lip balms which contains SPF content in it. It helps in protecting our lips from the harsh UV Rays and sunlight.
6) I prefer to avoid lipsticks as much as possible. I always try to replace my lipsticks with tinted Lip balms. I gives me the desirable results and also save my lips from the scary chemicals which a lipstick contains.
7) I avoid making direct contact between my lips and cola, soda, tea, coffee or any other drinks which contains caffine. I have heard and read a lot the drinks which contains caffine directly causes in the darkening of our lips. I try to use straw as much as possible (ofcourse not in the coffee shops).
8) I literally coat and re-coat my lips with plain lip balm before hitting the bed, as it helps in soothing my lips and repair it overnight, so that I can wake up with healthy and moisturised lips. Sometimes I apply butter or ghee on my lips, as it works excellently to repair the dry and chapped lips.
9) I gently scrub my lips every morning with the tooth brush so that it can remove the balm which I applied last night. it also helps in removing the flakiness on the lips.
