Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos Reviews, Swatches: Peach Blush and Coral Blush

Apart from lipsticks I am craving for blushes and this craving tempted me to buy the newly launched blushes from Lakme Absolute. Yes today I will review and swatch the new Lakme blush duos that I bought during Diwali. These blush duos comes in 4 shades: Coral, Pink, Peach and Rose. I got so excited that I bought two of these blushes: Peach Blush and Coral Blush. I know they both sound similar but I am so much into corals and peach that I couldn’t stop myself from buying two!

The luminous and silky formula gives a natural looking radiance to your skin. Giving your cheeks a hint of color that blends effortlessly for a luminous finish.Blends effortlessly. The Lakme blushes comes in duo shades in which one shade is lighter and the other is just one shade darker and both of them can be used individually or you can apply both of them by blending them together. They give a nice peach or coral tint to your cheeks.

Peach Blush: is smooth in texture with subtle shimmer in it that adds a lovely shimmery glow to your cheeks. I must say I am not impressed by its pigmentation as it is medium pigmented due to which one has to swirl the brush several times to get the actual shade on cheeks. But still I would say it is a good blush for those who go overboard with their blushes easily like me! It gives us a chance to build up the colour according to our liking. The shade may not suit medium to dusky Indian skin tones.

Coral Blush: Of course I love the coral one most as it is ideal for day and night. The coral shade is matte but doesn’t look flat on your face. It adds a nice glow to your cheeks. You don’t get matte blushes in India and that too in a coral shade that easily. This one is my favourite. This duo contains a coral orange and a pink shade. You can wear both of them individually or blend them together for a pink coral shade. It will suit all Indian skin tones beautifully.

The staying power of the blushes is good. They stays for around 5 hours without fading but I wish it stayed a little more as its going to stay much lesser during summer the summers due to the sweat and oil. I would ask Lakme to do something about the pigmentation and staying power! I hope they are listening!

Lakme Absolute face stylist blush Duos come in a simple black box with a black plastic case inside the box which contain the blush and a brush. The brush that comes with the blush is as usual useless like every other blush applicator that come with blushes.

I must say the blushes are really pricey and will burn your pocket. So before buying do try at the store first. I know I am reviewing them but still a disclaimer is needed: try at the store first and then decide. You may regret buying them later or may not and be happy with your purchase just like me!

My likes about the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duo Coral Blush:

• Pretty coral shade of the Coral Duo.
• Nice packaging.
• Travel friendly.
• Blush duos have two different shades which can be used either individually or together.
• Staying power is around5 hours.
• Medium pigmented.

My dislikes about the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duo Peach Blush:

• Pricey no doubt.

Conclusion: Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duo Coral Blush and Peach Blush are pretty shades. Coral is the prettiest and has matte finish while the peach one has got some shimmer in it. There is nothing new in the blushes that deserves such a high price but still if you want to grab one then do try it at the store first or you can look for budget dupes in other brands. These would have been good if they were priced a little lesser.
