You know they say “chota packet bada dhamaka”, its the same case with my favourite Kryolan Ultra Foundation which I will review and swatch today. It comes in both refills and full size. Kryolan Claims: Ultra Foundation is a cream foundation specially formulated for the most demanding make-up expectations. As a result of its excellent covering quality, Ultra Foundation is also effective as a corrective make-up. Transparent application of Ultra Foundation is also suitable for photographic work. Its matt finish provides models with a naturally attractive appearance. The Ultra Foundation formulation contains advanced ingredients that are recognised for particularly good skin compatibility. This formulation contains no mineral oil, to assure that the skin readily absorbs the make-up. This foundation is available in a wide range of more than 70 shades.

Krylon ultra foundation comes in a small round pan, the cover is transparent and you can see the thick set foundation. Krylon staying true to its makeup variety gives you 12 different shades to choose from. It provides a decent medium to almost full coverage. It covers all the scars, redness, pigmentation, acne in a jiffy. You don’t need a concealer

with it.

It can be your go to foundation on bad skin days, though it won’t help as a corrector for dark circles. For that you need an orange colour corrector. The texture is thick and creamy.

The thick creamy foundation can be little tricky to blend and you have to make sure you do that to avoid patchiness. To blend it make sure you use a good foundation brush in a downwards motion. Also it needs to be set with powder mostly on your t-zone, as it tends to get shiny after 2 3 hours maintaining the coverage. Wearing good for 5-6 hours on me, I think the small pan can do wonders with the price it comes at.

Cons of Kryolan Ultra Foundation:

• Difficult to blend
• Oily skin/humidity not a good option
• Flimsy transparent cap (I am always afraid of breaking it)
• Need to set it with powder

Conclusion: Krylon ultra foundation is worth a try if the cons don’t really bother you. All you girls out there its probably cheaper than your current favourite BB cream. For numerous functions and parties you attend you should definitely give it a shot.
