Like I mentioned in my previous post, I suffer from heavy and prominent dark circles. I’ve tried every natural remedy under the sun and almost all eye creams available in the market but nothing seems to make any difference. Alas, I’ve given up and made peace with the fact that concealers are going to be my best friends for life. However, I’ve noticed most concealers don’t adequately conceal my heavy dark circles and hence comes in this magic wand that I’m going to review and swatch today. An orange color corrector

If you have issues with dark circles or discoloration then this is the perfect solution for you! We don’t have many options in India when it comes to color correctors especially in drugstore brands but thankfully Kryolan offers a great variety that too at an extremely affordable price tag. Orange color correctors are used to counteract discoloration or darkness under the eyes. You apply it ONLY on the dark areas and let it sit for a few mins. Then conceal it with you normal concealer and you’re good to go.

When I went to the Kryolan store, I was initially going to buy the orange toned shade (D30) they have in the Derma Color Camouflage Range . But the MUA at the store strongly suggested I buy the brush on concealer instead of the tub one as the latter is harder to blend and settles into fine lines. Hence, I bought the pen style corrector/concealer which is a lot more hygienic and easier to use and also has a better texture. The brush on concealer comes in a silver pen style applicator w ith nylon bristles. It has a rotating mechanism at the bottom which dispenses adequate product. The cap shuts tightly and will not come off in your bag thus it is travel friendly.

The Kryolan Brush On Concealer has a liquid to crème texture which is not runny and blends easily. I just dot it under my eyes with the brush and then pat it with my ring finger. Shade #6 is a bright orange concealer and is highly pigmented. You require only a small amount for both the eyes and this product will surely last me a long long time!

It does not settle into fine lines and is long staying. I can attest to the long staying part as I have a concealer shade from the same range. I’m totally amazed at the difference it makes and have been raving about it ever since I got my hands on this. This is THE solution for pesky dark circles! It is one product that I cannot live without and certainly HG material!

I highly recommend buying the pen form concealer over the tub variant as the latter is known to harden up over time plus this one easier to blend!
