Kim Kardashian Cannes 2012: Elie Saab, Balmian Dress, Emilio Pucci

Seeing a single dress on more than one woman is not quite uncommon these days. But if the malfunction seems to happen with the same woman everytime then you take notice. Almost all the otfits Kim Kardashian sported at Cannes 2012 were repeats of celenrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Katy Perry. Anyhoo, let’s take a closer look at them.

Kim Kardashian showed off her world famous curves in a sunny yellow Elie Saab gown at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The right leg is getting so common now so I’m not even going to pay attention to it. This is my favourite among the 3 looks she sported.

Kim’s makeup is as usual flawless…so flawless that it starts looking plastic if you stare at it for long. I’m still not sure if I like it. I’m sure many of you will eat me up for this!

She wore a short gold and cream Balmian dress at the premiere of her boyfriend Kanye West’s short film Cruel Summer. Although I like the outfit (infact I like it more than I liked it when I first saw it), what’s up with the lighter foundation? I thought her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic was a perfectionist. There is a youtube channel by that name too if you would like to see some of her looks being re-created.

She attended Sean Comb’s Party in an Emilio Pucci two-piece black lace gown. This was my least favourite. Infact this is not something you can call a ‘favourite’. Its so ill fitted. When black and lace come together, it turns heads..but this time for the wrong reasons.
