Inglot Freedom System Color Play Lipstick #98 Review and Swatches
By Contributor: Arshita Dhara
Bright pink lipsticks are quite in-thing these days, (did you notice Gauhar Khan in Big Boss 7 lately? She is only wearing shades of pink! She looks like a diva even in her sickness!) I always loved fuchsia and darker shades of pink, so recently I saw this amazing popping shade from the new Color Play Palette from Inglot and bought it. And today I will be reviewing and swatching that very shade, i.e. Inglot Freedom System Square Lipstick 98. I have medium to fair skin tone, and though some says that fuchsia only suits fair complexions, but I think it also suits my dusky Indian complexion pretty well (even if not, I don’t care!). So, let us get on to the details and my experience with this lipstick.
My Review:
Inglot 98 is a hot blue pink shade. For a clearer perception, this shade is 2-3 shades lighter than Candy Yum Yum. Whenever I am buying lipsticks, I search for two shades, Red and Fuchsia, always! I am like crazy lover of these two lip shades, and collecting lipsticks of these shades has become my passion now. So, while searching for Inglot lipsticks , this shade got my attention immediately!
Pigmentation: This lipstick is superbly pigmented; it hides the pigments on my lips nicely. Only 2-3 swipes of this lipstick give the proper shade. But the only problem is to remove; it leaves stain on the lips. Though when I am using makeup remover, it’s no pain!
Texture: The texture of this lipstick is very creamy, and it has a sheen to the finish. It adds some what a mild glossy or smooth effect when applied on the skin. It does not have glitter (I have got one lipstick which has got a zillions glitters in it!) Thank God!
Staying Power: One of the facts that made me addicted to Inglot is the staying power. This lipstick stays for minimum 5-6 hours and that too without any fading or settling in fine lines. As you can see I have a lot of fine lines on my lips, and yet it manages to stay perfectly put the whole time! It does not also bleed, for that matter.

Final Verdict: Inglot Freedom System Color Play Lipstick 98 is a nice bright fuchsia lipstick with superb pigmentation and beautiful creamy texture. If you like fuchsia lipsticks, give this a try. Also, it has no cons! This shade will look very flattering on fair complexioned ladies and none the less medium complexioned ladies will also look gorgeous in this shade, in my opinion.
Editor: Majorbrands.in shows this lipstick as #983 from the regular square refills range. But that range has got shades upto #90 and Inglot launched the 10 shade Color Play Palette with bright neon lipstick shades (including a blue, green and yellow!) from #91 to #100 and this shade is part of the same lipstick collection. And its not the first time. The site has been showing different names for the Rainbow Eyeshadows as well. So we will go according to the US website. Why creating the confusion Inglot India?
