And imagine the guy saying “don’t ya talk dirty to me”. No actually I can’t. There is no guy on this planet who can say that. But I can imagine the guy saying “its sexy. come let me show you how…..” no I can’t write that here…this is a family blog! The colour Sex is a matte white shade. Its pure white without any other undertones. Now why a white eye shadow you ask? Because white is a very multi-purpose colour to own and when its pure white and matte then the multi-tasking goes out to another level.
The 6 ways I use it:
  • on your waterline to make your eyes look bigger. Add half a drop of sealing gel and it will turn liquid and apply like liner.
  • it in the inner corners for those awake and bright eyes.
  • to highlight the brow bone or even other areas of your face when dusted lightly.
  • as a base for less pigmented eyeshadows to make them go smooth and intense.
  • along with your shimmery eyeshadows to balance the shimmer and avoid a shimmer riot on your innocent little eye.
  • on its own as a lid colour as som of the Illamasqua models sport it!
In terms of texture this is totally matte. The texture even though is matte but not chalky. It is smooth and soft. Pigmentation is good…much better than Burst. I get the best pigmentation with a dense brush and least with a sponge tip. The sponge tip just wastes the product. I use a damp brush for wet application and get best results with it. In terms of it longevity it easily wore for 6hrs on me without fading or creasing. It infact stayed put for a long time on my lower lash line.

Its matte, soft and buttery, lasts for 6hrs without creasing and blends easily. Everyone needs atleast one matte white eyeshadow in their vanity for the reasons mentioned above!
