Who doesn’t know about the all women razor Gillette has under its line. Its softer than the other razors in the market which are most suited for the harsh skin of men. But us girls..we are happy with the cool blue razor called Venus for our shaving needs like arms, legs, underarms, etc (Women are from Venus, right?) I will review the Venus razor today and tell you in detail how I use it to get a smooth even shave. Gillette Venus

recently started a campaign known as “Use Your And” which embraces the ultimate versatility of a woman and how she does not belong to a certain stereotype but is a harmonious melody of all sorts of talents and traits. Personally, I really like how Gillette Venus has taken up such a cause which affects a lot of women.

I’m sure almost every woman has been labeled under a particular stereotype at least once in her life. Furthermore, such labels serve as a demotivation for women who want to juggle between several prospects in their life. I too, have been through such a phase where I was labeled under “just a pretty girl” tag and how people used to themselves make assumptions on my educational preferences. Many such instances have occurred where I had to struggle to come out of the stereotype that I was pushed under. So the campaign launched by Gillette Venus is incredibly inspiring for many women who have been facing the problem.

Gillette Claims: Gillette Venus Razor is the perfect versatile and easy to use razor for women. This Shower safe blade comes with refills which are each sealed separately to ensure that they remain clean and dry, even when stored near moisture. Don’t forget that Venus refill cartridges can be replaced with any Venus refillable system razors! This particular one comes with 1 razor and 1 cartridge.

My Review:

Lets start with the packaging and I must say Gillette has hit a bonus with this one. The packaging and the product itself looks so attractive, blue is my favorite color anyways so maybe I’m a little biased! However the razor looks sturdy but is not quite travel friendly since the packaging is disposable.

The pivoting head makes it easier to target the hard to reach areas. The handle is improved and the grip is superior which makes it very easy to use.

The three blades are engulfed in soft protective cushions which guarantee a close shave yet it will save from those horrible nicks and cut which scar. Yes, I have been there done that. It is absolutely horrendous but thankfully with the new Gillette Venus razor, you won’t have to worry about that. The skin is left hair-free and soft post application. Just a dab of moisturizer and you’re good to go. I love the fact how you can keep a track of your shave with the indicator strip with Aloe and Vitamin E which makes the razor fairly moisturizing, brownie points!

Overall, I love this razor and it is set to last me for a good couple of months after which I shall get the refills for the same.
