You must be aware of the latest Triple Nutrition range by Garnier Fructis containing the goodness of coconut, almond and olive oil. I have tried the Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner and it worked really well on my rough and frizzy hair. I was hoping they also add a intense, nourishing hair mask to the range. So when the new Garnier Fructis Oil-in-Cream was launched, I was excited to try it out. Read on to my review to know the different ways I use the hair oil in cream and how well it works on my hair.
Garnier Fructis claims: Get the nourishment of hair oils in a non sticky cream format. Nourishes and hair feels stronger. Zero stickiness and mess. Pleasant long lasting fragrance. The cream texture melts away without leaving sticky residue and does not weigh your hair down. Hair looks bouncy and full of life.
How to use: Use it just like your hair oil
Before Wash: Massage into hair and scalp. Oil in cream intensely nourishes your hair and transforms it.
After Wash: Wash your hair with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner. Use on hair lengths for easy manageability and styling.
Overnight: Massage into hair and scalp and leave overnight. Wash away with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner for intense nourishment.

My Review of Garnier Oil in Cream:
Packaging: I love the bright, vibrant yellow packaging of this Triple Nutrition range. The oil-in-cream comes in a plastic tube with a flip-flop cap that shuts tightly. There is no leakage and it can be carried around easily in your bag. If you fear carrying oil bottles with you while travelling, this just comes very handy.
Texture and fragrance: The oil cream is white in colour with a thick consistency. It spreads easily and is very light and non-greasy. It has a pleasant, fruity fragrance which is not strong or overpowering. I generally get a headache on using fragranced hair products. But I love this light fragrance.
3 Ways to Use the Garnier Triple Nutrition Oil in Cream:
1. Garnier as an overnight mask
I have tried using the oil-in-cream in various ways and will list my experience with each of them. Firstly, I used it as an overnight mask. Unlike a conditioner, this product can be applied and massaged onto the scalp. Leaving it all night gives deep nourishment to hair and when I washed my hair next morning, my hair was healthy, soft and bouncy w ithout any frizz. In this case, the fragrance even lasts in your hair for two-three days till your next wash. However, if you have very dry hair, this might not work as well as an oil massage, since it is very light. Also, it needs more quantity for an overnight mask.
2. Oil in Cream as a Leave in Treatment:
Secondly, I washed my hair and used it on my hair lengths as a leave-in treatment. I usually don’t prefer leave-in treatments since my hair is very fine and limp, but this doesn’t weigh down my hair. It just controls the frizz and makes hair more manageable. In this case, the fragrance will just last for a day or two. This is the best method of use for all hair types.
3. Cream as a Deep Conditioning Mask:
Thirdly, I used it as a deep conditioning hair mask. After washing with shampoo and conditioning, I applied the oil-in-cream and left for ten minutes and washed it off. This again gives soft, manageable hair and the fragrance lasts for two days. If you have very dry, rough hair, this method will be best.
Best and the most important part for any hair care product, this doesn’t cause any hairfall.
Price in India: Rs.35 for 50g, Rs.60 for 100g and Rs.100 for 200g

Where to Buy Online in India: nykaa
Overall: Garnier Fructis oil-in-cream does most of what it claims and can be used in multiple ways. For the very affordable price, you can give it a try. However, it can’t be a complete “oil replacement cream” as it is loaded with chemicals unlike natural oils.
