I remember that there was different Herbal Bleach of Fem which was green coloured box, don’t know whether they have replaced it with this Turmeric one as I don’t find it in stores anymore. When I first saw the Fem Turmeric Herbal Bleach, I was quite pessimist about it as I had my experience of Hair removal creams

which have turmeric in them and they smell foul but this doesn’t so is the claim true about being as effective as homemade ubtan? Read on the review of this turmeric bleach to know more (suspense you see)!

Fem Claims: Inspired from home made ubtan, the new Fem Turmeric & Milk removes dead cells and sun tan, lightens skin tine and gives healthy fairness.

My Review:

Product: The same packing as the usual Fem Bleaches have and it is coloured yellow, even the Creme and Activator are yellow (déjà vu of Fem Turmeric Hair Removal Cream). I find it very similar to mango shrikhand and it smells good too! It has the usual things like Spatula, Fem SafeUse spoon and instructions leaflet but the same issue of no post or pre bleach serum/cream being provided.

Claims: The claim of removing dead skin cells can be true as bleach as after this removal only we can find lighten skin tone which can provide some fairness/glow, it also removes tan but it will not help in getting rid of prolonged tan, it just lightens the skin and may be with 2-3 use one can find old tan lighten but not vanishing totally.

And yes it contains some content of turmeric as mentioned in ingredients as Turmeric Oleoresin is an extract of turmeric which is used in many cosmetics and food products for its yellow colour (Googled Result).

It works like every other Bleach of Fem, nothing different about it except the fact that it contains some meagre amount of turmeric. Ubtan is very different from bleach and Ubtan is homemade as well as natural remedy to get rid of tan, dead skin or for lightening or whitening skin tone, one cannot compare both of them. Yet I find this little box good enough as it works efficiently.

Pros of Fem Turmeric Herbal Fairness Cream Bleach:

• Contains turmeric
• Lightens the colour of your facial hair and gives glow to skin
• Also removes dead skin and tan (not old tan though)
• Contains measuring spoon and leaflet which is really good for beginners
• You don’t need to bleach again after applying this for at least 45 days
• Gives a glow to the skin and brightens it

Cons of Fem Turmeric Herbal Fairness Cream Bleach:

• This doesn’t provide pre-bleach or post-bleach crème
• One cannot compare an ubtan with bleach as ubtan is not made out of chemicals
• Tends to lose its effectiveness as it reaches it expiry date, so don’t store it for long.

Do I Recommend and Will I Repurchase? I am really confused about it as all the Fem Bleaches have same effect as this one, in case if I don’t find Oxy Bleach or Fem Gold one I won’t mind buying this as it is as effective as others.

Final Verdict: Adding turmeric doesn’t make any bleach herbal but still bleach is meant for just one purpose that is for lightening the facial hair & skin tone, if this factor is considered then fem herbal works really good.
