Whats up with everybody calling cream as creme. I know its ooh so fancy sounding, like pass me my creme brulee with crushed pretzels and cherry drizzle please (don’t go looking for it, I just made it up) Uh and not to forget that accent on ‘e’ to make it more fancy and french. Call it whatever, as long as my lipgloss is top quality I am not complaining. I’m crushing on the new Ultime Pro Lip Cremes by Faces Cosmetics

. And the shades I have are nude mojito and fuchsia sparkler. I have already swatched all the 6 shades in the range on VNA, today I will review these two shades.

My Review:

Faces Fuchsia Sparkler is a bright warm pink with red tones. Very pigmented and goes opaque in just one swipe. Its a pick me up on days you don’t want to wear a lot of makeup and look tired and dull. I love pairing it with my black outfits. It grabs attention like nobody’s business. It will suit every Indian skin tone in my opinion.

Faces Nude Mojito is a warm beige nude which works even when you are not wearing any makeup at all. In the pictures I’m wearing nothing but left over kajal and it isn’t washing me out. Its also a good shade to pair with smokey eye looks. It will suit girls till NC 42 in my opinion.

I love that these faces lip shades don’t look insanely glossy on lips which I like as glossy lipglosses make my already thick lips a lot fuller which I am not a fan of. The finish is more semi glossy in my opinion.

The texture of these ultime pro lip cremes is a delight. These are like liquid lipsticks with superb colour pay off without any shimmer. The texture is thick but thats what works in its favour as it stays for a good amount of time even with some light snacking. These are very hydrat ing on lips and don’t require a separate lip balm. On your bad lip days, these can be your saviors.

These lip glosses comes with a sponge tip wand which makes application very easy.

These faces lip cremes are rightly named as they are more than just a lip gloss. These are totally worth the price tag and score in all the departments. I’m so itching to try Grape Martini which is a very beautiful purple shade.

Pros of Faces Ultime Pro Lip Creme Fuchsia Sparkler:

• The shade selection is pretty amazing. They picked one shade from every colour family. Fuchsia Sparkler is a bright pink with red tones while Nude Mojito is a nude shade which never washes me out.
• These are quite hydrating and don’t require a lip balm underneath.
• The texture is thick but non sticky
• They go opaque in one swipe
• Staying power is around 2-3 hours but Fuchsia Sparkler leaves a strong tint which doesnt require a touch up

So is it for you? These lip cremes are a must have if you are a fan of pigmented and long staying lip glosses. These lipgloss leave a strong tint which doesn’t require touch ups. The texture is thick yet its not sticky like lipglosses are usually are and the finish is semi glossy. These are quite hydrating as well which make them perfect for winters as well. I recommend the shades Fuchsia Sparkler and Grape Martini.
