Yesterday I got the April Edition of My Envy Box. Its my first beauty box from this new brand which started a few months back but has gained a lot of popularity because of the hard work these guys have been doing. Unlike other beauty samples boxes, they stick to their promise of sending you luxury samples unlike some other (ahem Fab Bag!) So needless to say I had a lot of expectations from my first beauty box. Let’s start with the review and unboxing and see if they delivered it.
My Envy Box Review
They generally have a peach box but this month they switched to pink. I’m using it to store my jewellery now.
The highlight of my box is this H2O Spa Sea Moss Body Wash. I love body washes and when the quantity is this big you can’t get happier. The fragrance is very aqua..very me.
Just look at the packaging! A face scrub by Skin Yoga. I like the cork thingy..you know I always wanted to have this message in a bottle sort of thing! I’ve tried the face scrub and it smells exactly like my home made orange turmeric mask. Love this!
Alright so here is the thing. I was expecting a generous quantity of my Benefit sample. But I got this tiny 1-2 times use Porefessional primer which I’m not a big fan of anyway. It has been reviewed in details on VNA before. I secretly wish I had gotten the Benefit Fake Up Concealer other beauty bloggers got.
Za is a new line launched by Shiseido in India. I got this 5g sample of the day cream. Let’s see how it works.
I also got the Avene Whitening Essence. Excited to try this serum since its my first product from Avene
They also sent in a copy of Spy Girl comics by Marvel. At first I thought it was a real thing but its actually a creative comic strip on Benefit cosmetics. Apart from discount vouchers of all the products in my box, they sent this Monsoon and Beyond voucher. I need to check out this store online to form my opinion.
My Envy Box Review april 2014
So here is everything I got in April edition of My Envy Box. I super like H20 and Skin Yoga samples. Overall I didn’t jump up and down as I was expecting but the start was decent. Let’s see how they improve next month. They have theme based boxes every month and this month’s theme is Monsoon. Let’s see what they come up with in the May box.
For those who are new, My Envy Box is a luxury samples box where you subscribe to them and they deliver a box to your home with surprise products. All the boxes are kept different so everyone gets different samples to try. The thing about these beauty boxes is that you get to try new brands and try their travel sizes before buying the actual products. For me its the sheer excitement that keeps me hooked to beauty boxes.
The fab bag disappointed me too. I had registered for their samples when they went by another name. The Envy Box team seems to be sending good products each month. I think I should give a try.
That primer sample comes free with full size purchases of Benefit products in the UK, sad that they send it out in a beauty box which we pay for! I am not a fan of porefessional either, too silicone-y for my liking.
I want to order the envy Box just for the cute looking skin yoga face scrub :P . Over all I loved your envy box :)

Hei I also got almost same products except that I got benefit Concealer. Gng to my bag for quick fix. Very travel friendly size :)
