I am back again with my review and swatches of a lip gloss from the teenage brand Elle 18. We all love lipsticks, don’t we? But sometimes we feel that we should look simple and fresh with minimal makeup. Like those days when you wake up in the morning and not feel like doing make up at all. Its during those days that this new Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm will become your best friend. It will give you a simple chick look in a few seconds. The new range of Elle 18 lip balms bring to you different beautiful shades, and the one I got my hands on is Juicy Berry! The others shades are: Juicy Red, Juicy Pink, Juicy Mauve, Juicy Peach, Juicy Beige.

Juicy Berry is a beautiful peach shade, when I press it out of the tube it is a great attractive opaque color but after applying it on my lips there is very minimal color or rather I should say just a hint of color. But it makes my lips look healthy and also it moisturizes well. The color will not show up much on pigmented lips. This lip balm is creamy and thus can’t be layered on and on. It can be worn out alone if u want to look simple otherwise this will also look superb over peach lipsticks, pink lipsticks and even coral pink lipsticks. This would look super over a matte lipstick.

Elle 18  juicy balms don’t have any shimmer. They are like some liquid lipsticks but without the pigmentation. The color of this lip balm stays for 1 hour but the creaminess stays for another hour. I don’t mind applying this after an hour. This lip balm smells like candy and I feel like eating up my lips after applying this hehehe!!  I like its smell, but this may be a problem for some.

The packaging is very simple and cute with a face of a girl on it, come on you can’t expect more at this price. It is user friendly and travel friendly too. The last thing I want to say is that this is a good lip balm and  these are something hard to ignore considering the price and these are superb thing to wear over a lipstick.

When I was in school I used Elle 18 kajal and liners a lot and you too must have used them. And now Elle is back with a bang with their exciting new range of coloured liners, lip balms, foundation and compact. Isn’t it exciting ? Oh yea, it is! Elle 18 products are very reasonable and a must try for every girl, as without burning our pockets we can try exciting lip balms in different colors.  So girls just give it a try and surely would love it.

The bad things about Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm Juicy Berry:

• Staying power is not so good
• Less pigmentation

Do I Recommend: Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm Juicy Berry is a light pink shade. You should try it out. Because it moisturizes your lips well and is a great thing to be worn with lipsticks and the best part is that there is no shimmer in it. Also these are something hard to ignore considering the price. It makes my lips appear healthy and plumpy.
