Today I will review a hair Serum which is meant to promote hair growth. I don’t claims to reduce hair fall and breakage as such (touchwood) but every year during this monsoon season I find my hairbrush full of my broken hair. While my mother blames my diet and lifestyle habits

, I blame the weather. Coming to the product, Dr. Batra’s Hair Vitalizing Serum is packed with natural ingredients which claims to reduce hair fall and breakage and to make hair stronger while promoting hair growth. Let’s see if this hair serum from Dr. Batra works.

My Experience with Dr. Batra’s Hair Serum:

I have a hard time with hair serums because either they make my hair very greasy or they leave my hair dry. But this one from Dr. Batra’s came out to be an exception. It’s more like a hair spray rather than a serum. I wash my hair at night and spray this serum directly on the scalp and then comb my hair so that it spreads to the entire hair length. My hair feels more soft and shiny after using the serum. Though it doesn’t take care of the frizzy hair problem entirely, but to some extent hair frizz remains under control during the first day. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy either.

Hair does become greasy on third day after applying this, but I don’t think I can blame the vitalizing serum for that. Coming to the hair growth and hairfall control claim of this dr.batra hair serum, I can say I do find less number of hair strands on my hair brush but I can’t comment on the hair growth. I have been using it for almost a month but my hair length hasn’t shown any noticeable difference.

Packaging: It comes in a nice and sturdy spray bottle, the cap of the bottle is very innovative and won’t fall off making it travel friendly.

Fragrance:It has a herbal fragrance which everyone may not like, the fragrance becomes milder after a few hours.

Pros of Dr. Batra’s Hair Vitalizing Serum:

• Adds shine to the hair.
• Doesn’t make hair greasy.
• Controls hair fall.

Cons of Dr. Batra’s Hair Vitalizing Serum:

• No noticeable hair growth
• Doesn’t control frizz entirely, so I think people with dry hair will need something extra.
