Winters are officially here and so is the season of love and by love I mean the love for hot tea and the love for cold mornings with warm cozy blankets. I love winters though only during weekends (college life problems). I love to drink green tea with a dash of lemon. It just rejuvenates me. So today on VNA I am going to make a green tea face mask..sound exciting right! Its very easy to makeup and all you need is a green tea bag, curd, lemon and honey..things you get in your kitchen easily. You are only 4 steps away from getting a green tea facial at home in your pajamas.

Green tea is loaded with benefits for our body as well as skin. It is rich in antioxidants which help your skin in treating acne, scars and is good for reducing the wrinkles. They fight against the free radicals which cause premature aging due to sun exposure. It is antibacterial and deals with acne. Green tea brightens up your skin, soothes your skin. It reduces the tan and sun burns and helps in the formation of new cells. It even aids in weight loss. It treats blemishes and clears your skin. And when applied as a mask it reduces the puffy eyes and dark circles. It tightens up your skin and is an excellent scrub hence providing a glow to your face.  So now as you know the goodness of green tea let us go to our next step of knowing the ingredients required to make our mask.

INGREDIENTS:

• Green tea bag- 1
• Honey-1tsp
• Curd-1tsp
• Lemon juice-1tsp

Step 1: Take a green tea bag and put it in warm water for a few seconds so that it is moist enough.

Step 2: Now open the bag and transfer the green tea in a bowl.

Step 3: Add 1 tsp of curd and mix well.

Step 4: Then add 1 tsp of honey to the curd and green tea. Now Add a tsp of lemon juice and mix everything together.

Step 5: Tadaa your green tea face mask is ready

Apply it evenly on the face including the eye area. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Then gently scrub it in circular motions. Be very gentle around the eye area. Wash with cold water and pat dry your face.
