Call me old school, traditional or what not but still I firmly hold the belief that nothing tickles a guy’s heart as fluttering eye lashes do. There is some strange charm to thick lashes, having the power to take your make-up to completely another level of ‘alluring’. Gifted with thick lashes, I never was dependent on mascaras

to do the trick for me. However one could not but help owning this towering piece of Dior make up in the world of lashes. Tip- Toeing through the stores, raiding all the showcases stacked in with endless products I couldn’t help stumbling onto this Dior Diorshow Mascara, head-over-heels more so. I am going to review and swatch it today.

Dior Claims: Diorshow combines the legendary power of it XXL brush with a buildable cream formula for adjustable professional volume and spectacular lashes. Result: Customized volume to mirror the lash “add-on” effect used by backstage professional makeup artists.

Once applied the mascara literally thickens the lashes by forming a sort of dull un-lustrous coating and is prone to drying up really quickly. There is hardly any need for a second coat unless you have super-thin lashes. Also it has nothing make up like in its finish; it is very natural in the final finish. Put it and it stays as it is. Smooth. Intact. Exactly so.

Yes, the main concern remains the price which is approx. Rs. 2500 (varies from store to store and online). I got mine from Shopper Stop for a whopping Rs. 2555, for a 11.5 ml packing.  Also the competition it combats in face of excellent and enhanced quality mascaras from other brands like NYX, L’Oreal Paris, Estee Lauder, and Clinique is fierce.

So go on. Be Cruel. Put on DIORSHOW and be ready to bat those long heavy lashes on the next hunk who dares to look through your dreamy eyes and I promise it would be difficult for them to break that contact. Just like that.

• Thick. Period
• Great applicator. Curves the lashes to the perfect extent
• Lives long. Stays up to about ten hours, before needing a touch up.
• I have been using it since past one year and is still in a usable state. Long life if conserved properly, under room temperature.
• Dries really quickly.

Yuckkks about Dior Diorshow Mascara:

• Has a tendency to clot sometimes.
• A little heavy on the lashes.

VNA Rating: 4.5/5 (Except a couple of minor glitches, it is a heart stealer. Once in your closet, there will never be any looking back)

Conclusion: Dior Diorshow Mascara is great. Overall, one has to agree the mascara solves the purpose quite aptly by giving immense volume to your lashes and still keeping them natural. All in all there is absolutely no harm in going a little overboard and buying this Dior mascara, because it lives up to its name and you will never regret buying one.
