Biba Store Collection Review – Shopping for Indian Ethnic Wear for Girls and Kids
Let’s take a break from all the beauty reviews today and sit back, throw away that indian festive wear catalogue in a dump, grab a cuppa coffee and relax while a take you shopping online. Biba is a popular ethnic wear brand for girls and kids and have got their stores all over India. Let me show you what the Kamla Nagar (north delhi) store has to offer. I was so looking forward to the latest Rohit Bal Festive Collection but the manager told me it has only been released in select stores (say Lajpat Nagar or Saket). So yes I was a bit disappointed but anyway let’s get going because I still managed to click the whole store I guess!!
I will start with two of my favourite peices. First is this red golden bridal anarkali which the manaquein had on. To say its beautiful is an understatement.
It was around 8k. Not pricey considering how the Indian Ethnic Wear prices are sky rocketing. This was infact the most expensive suit in the store apart from……
..this one! This black anarkali was my second favourite. It was around 8-9k too.
If you love jacket style suits then there was a whole collection around the theme. This off white anarkali with black jacket and red dupatta was so pretty.
They also had individual jackets on sale to let you mix and match
This pink golden anarkali was something I was really digging. It was around 6k.
And my mom loved this crushed green suit. It was also available in orange but green looked more vibrant. Price:5k
This was the most interesting suit there. The suit had 2-3 colour blocked layers in bright colours which were visible at the bottom. Also, the sides were also in a different pattern which is a cheat code to look slimmer. You know of those optical illusion colour blocked dress which instantly make you look slimmer? I feel the suit is loosely inspired by them. And look at the oooooooooh so pretty dupatta!
Another peice my mom liked. My mom and I’ve got similar very similar taste so kinda safe to say I liked it too. It was available in orange colour too. Price: 6k around
How pretty is the embroidery at the neckline. Price: Rs.ummm 4k?
Look at the right one..so pweetty! Price: around 2-3k I guess.
Winters are here and so are the woolen suits. This black and orange one was what I liked. Price: 2-3k..not sure
And the most amazing concept theme ever! It’s black..dark..gothic..poster like..its the Biba Rockstar collection. All the peices in this range had graffiti all over them. Price: Rs.900
I am hoping they would work on the cuts a bit more since I’m really liked the orange one but I wish the fit was more flattering.
You know while hopping from suit to suit my gaze fell on these teeny tiny beautiful suits and ghagra skirts…..the kids collection!
Honestly I wished the same colour theme was available in bigger sizes too!
The kids collection was between 1k-2k.
Cotton suits for daily wear. Price range: upto Rs. 900. You see the last suit on the right? If you don’t remember it then you need a cup of coffee more…..I just showed it to you!
The manager told me this was the best selling piece there. I got interested and……
……tried it on! This was a high low suit btw. Price: Rs.3500 (I remember exactly because I really resisted not buying it..high low concepts don’t work well with me)
Since I was in a mood to buy something light and easy which I can wear to college and this bright green was my instant favourite.Price: Rs.900
I don’t know why I am looking so angry! Maybe because the neck was V and I prefer U..these little details really annoy me somehow. Anyhoo I’m still buying it.
And here is a super tired FOTD after trying to remember all the prices, clicking every interesting concept and trying on a lot of outfits. In the end I was so overwhelmed that I ended up buying nothing. It happens with me always..I go to a store..get dazzled with 100s of colours and styles..make mental notes of asking mom and sailor and come out buying nothing!
They told me they had new stock arriving after Diwali so I’m planning to go back again. And this time *fingers crossed* I would finally come out with one a couple of shopping bags *evil grin*
The green one looks good! I always love lurking in the Biba section :)
its my favourite too!

The red anarkali looks so elegant
oh how i wish it wasnt high low..i so wanted to buy it
Biba is a very good women clothing brand. Biba has nice collection of kurtis and suits. I like this brand very much.
Hi
I just loved the crushed green suit. I have a similar suit, bought from sareez.com.
i like the suit in orange color. I find this type of suit on Highlifefashion.com
I found the first two mentioned suits bit pricey. Means…. 8-9K is too much for a cotton Anarkali. However, I like the Orange and green one. Kids collection is reasonably priced.
Always love BIBA collection. In fact have been thriving on them…
